where are they now - Andy Todd
Corby Town boss Graham Drury has ended his pursuit of former Bolton Wanderers defender Andy Todd.
And in a separate move, the Steelmen manager also revealed that a late attempt to take Jake Beecroft on loan from Rushden & Diamonds had also failed.
The moves come as Drury looks to freshen up his squad following back-to-back defeats in the BlueSquare North.
But there has been one piece of player movement at Rockingham Triangle with striker Jack Defty going out on loan to Zamaretto League side AFC Sudbury.
Todd made seven appearances on loan for Northampton Town last season and has played in the Premier League for Charlton and Blackburn.
He ended last season at Derby and is combining a coaching role at Pride Park with playing for Corby's Blue Square North rivals Alfreton Town.
"He wanted too much money in the end and we simply couldn't afford to meet his demands so there was no deal," said Drury.
