yet - still actually IN every race...
how many of us actually expect them not to ease past ipswich in the second leg and sort out Leeds (who surely have missed their best chance???)
of course they will!

Which will further tire them out with Barcelona quickly approaching.thebish wrote:boltonboris wrote:As sure as December has Christmas in it. January has Arsenal slipping out of every race.

I still think they'll win the League Cup... But purely because they're the only team in the top half of the Premier League who's played a strong side.
They'll balls up their League challenge and they'll get nowhere near the FA Cup final, unless they get EXTREMELY lucky with the draws.. They may even go out at Elland road.
Trust me.. Jan and Feb are not Arsene's Fwiends

Re: Wenger... arse
Nice to hear Whinger blame the Christmas fixture congestion for Arsenal's lack of sharpness. Didn't seem to stop Chelsea from sticking seven past the same bunch on Sunday. Also, doesn't that mean that Whinger's darlings had had over 24 hours more rest than their Championship opponents? The cock!

If it was Rugby then the dignity-dodging prick would've got three points for putting that one over the bar from three feet out.ohjimmyjimmy wrote:Whine whine fooking whine...

(oh - and the versionof the game on my radio had ipswich down for quite a few chances - including a spectacular overhead-kick disallowed for offside... and BY NO MEANS all from long balls.)thebish wrote:if proof were ever needed....ohjimmyjimmy wrote:Whine whine fooking whine...

Pardon me for chipping in here, but did I not witness Arsenal punting the fecker up the field against Leeds?thebish wrote:if proof were ever needed....ohjimmyjimmy wrote:Whine whine fooking whine...

I could have sworn I did, because I commented that it was a bit pointless unless you have a tough bloke up front.
Re: Wenger... arse
you may well have done - cos that's also what it said they were doing on my radio...Worthy4England wrote:Pardon me for chipping in here, but did I not witness Arsenal punting the fecker up the field against Leeds?thebish wrote:if proof were ever needed....ohjimmyjimmy wrote:Whine whine fooking whine...

You did indeed, and if I remember correctly it was referred to as a "long pass" - not a hoof.Worthy4England wrote:Pardon me for chipping in here, but did I not witness Arsenal punting the fecker up the field against Leeds?thebish wrote:if proof were ever needed....ohjimmyjimmy wrote:Whine whine fooking whine...

Whatever you do, do not watch an A-League (Australia's 'top flight') match. Long balls seems to be the only tactic available...

Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

I know.. The cheek of it! I can't believe they didn't consult Arsenal first and ask them how best to let them win!Raven wrote:Stupid bloody Ipswich did they not realise they have to stand back and let Arsenal tippy tappy around them and walk the ball into the net, how dare they!
