Villa better hire a manager pronto

There ARE other teams(we'd have no-one to play otherwise) and here's where all-comers can discuss the wider world of football......

Villa better hire a manager pronto

Post by seanworth » Sun Aug 22, 2010 2:13 pm

After Carew missed his penalty Newcastle have been running Villa absolultelly ragged. It is now 3-0 and yes Nolan has scored, and Barton scored a brilliant goal.

Villa looked totally disorganised right now.

I still don't like it :(

I think it was the right move, but when I see him on the pitch I still look at him as a Bolton white. Still have a soft spot for him as he played with his heart.

There will be talk of Premiership titles coming to a phone-in near you.

Jesus wept. It's now the third 6-0 spanking of the weekend.

Might have to review next week's "I Know The Score" predictions. :)

"Rightful place" "Champions League" "passionate support" "Fans deserve this" "Too big for the championship" "Nolan/Barton/Guthrie for England".

First to shout house at 6.06 wins.

:D, not so many 30 pointers. Wouldn't mind I had both Arsenal and Chelsea down for 4-0 wins, and they go and outdo even that!

Also, where whichever poster it was who reckoned Nobby wouldn't even be playing for Newcastle this year. He's only Captain, with a free role, and two goals.

Pie van probably hasn't delivered this season's supplies yet. 8)
Don't try to be a great man. Just be a man and let history make up its own mind.

Still gutted we sold Nolan really.

I know why we sold him, but as it turns out that was a mistake!

It was the right move at the time.

I will applaud him heartily when he steps out onto the reebok pitch.

We sold him because we had a deal "done" for someone who was considered a better midfield player. Newcastle came calling and it was just a bit of oportunism, player ready to come in, Nolan who wasn't on form could be sold to fund the new boy to an extent.

As it is of course, the "certain" incoming deal fell through!
