I thought the ref was first class today and I don't often say that. The penalty and sending off was first class and we need to see more of it because it's basically cheating.Prufrock wrote:There are few things more entertaining than sitting quietly in an Arsenal pub spitting distance from the ground listening to their fans as they lose. Now all football fans tend to be occasionally one-eyed where their team is concerned, but they are something special. Mike Dean getting dog's abuse. If anything, the only thing he could be criticised for was the Kompany red (I think it was harsh, but can see why he gave it), yet you'd think from the Arsenal fans he was auditioning to get the Howard Webb derby gig.
Every time an Arsenal player gets tackled, they scream for a foul. Every time an Arsenal player gives it away they call them a cant. Amazing fun.

Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

Frankly i wouldn't care that much if he hadn't signed. For that money his consistency had better improve. Over rated and fades in and out of games.Annoyed Grunt wrote:He's practically won the lottery, with those wages.bobo the clown wrote:" .... and, in other news, Theo Walcott has today agreed not to win anything for the next three & a half years."
And Wenger will probably declare that he's 'like a new signing' and use it as an excuse to buy sod all this window.

With his recent track record, it's probably best he doesn't buy anyone.Gooner Girl wrote:Frankly i wouldn't care that much if he hadn't signed. For that money his consistency had better improve. Walcott must be regretting signing now......
Re: Diving Arsenal Players - The Least Shocking Admission Ev
he might end up at Spurs sooner rather than latter any way.

Re: Diving Arsenal Players - The Least Shocking Admission Ev
have explained this before but will repeat. spurs hjhave every very quick player in the league apart from one (walcoot) and AVB has created his team with pace and has even gone out of his way to get rid of every player in the team who is not super quick (look at how he treated Dawson), spurs have been continuesly linked with Walcott and considering how spurs only have one striker at the moment and how Walcott so desperatly wants to play up front ......, I therefore expect that come January 31st the top heavy offers will come in for spurs and to be honest if they stump up enogh money then Wenger will bite of AVBs hand off and anyway Walcott can see that spurs and Arsenal are heading opposite directions so it all makes sense.

Scott Parker isn't quick, neither is Dempsey.bwfcdan94 wrote:have explained this before but will repeat. spurs hjhave every very quick player in the league apart from one (walcoot) and AVB has created his team with pace and has even gone out of his way to get rid of every player in the team who is not super quick (look at how he treated Dawson), spurs have been continuesly linked with Walcott and considering how spurs only have one striker at the moment and how Walcott so desperatly wants to play up front ......, I therefore expect that come January 31st the top heavy offers will come in for spurs and to be honest if they stump up enogh money then Wenger will bite of AVBs hand off and anyway Walcott can see that spurs and Arsenal are heading opposite directions so it all makes sense.
Plus, Walcott has signed a new deal with Arsenal....so not going anywhere.
Re: Diving Arsenal Players - The Least Shocking Admission Ev
disagree with you on dempsey and at the end of the day Sandro is defo better than parker. they do have the option to play a whole team of extremly quick players if they want to.

You really think Dempsey is quick? I could beat him in a sprint.bwfcdan94 wrote:disagree with you on dempsey and at the end of the day Sandro is defo better than parker. they do have the option to play a whole team of extremly quick players if they want to.
Plus, you've not explained how Spurs are going to sign Walcott, seeing as he's signed a new contract for Arsenal.
