Actually Lofty, they do. Again, to hammer home a point, Martin O'Neill, his very recent predecessor, was also a catholic from Northern Ireland, so why wasn't he on the end of the threats Lennon has been receiving?

Pretty simple, Lennon is an extremely annoying individual who has succeeded in getting up the noses of just about every opposition fan in the country. O'Neill didn't.

Even Megson didn't get bullets through the post.

Whats wrong with just booing him and calling him a cnut from the stands?

The area he is from in Northern Ireland is regarded as a high republican area, he was sent death threats when he played for Northern Ireland because he said he would rather play for a United Ireland, a view like that in the time and era shows something about his character . . . theres more to it than he's a catholic Celtic manager from Northern Ireland, Martin O'Neil was not targeted the same way
