Liverpool laughing stocks?

There ARE other teams(we'd have no-one to play otherwise) and here's where all-comers can discuss the wider world of football......

One can only surmise that if it came to the crunch EHD would have pasted Carragher all over the field. 8)

Strange that I don't once recall Carragher getting near enough to Diouf to "kick him"

Have to say, fair play to the ref. I reckon that most of them would've bottled that. Shame that his family will now receive death threats from the greatest fans on earth!

You ... yes, Stevie, you ... get off. Go on ... fck off.

I can see why he's surprised as he's got away with it for almost 2 decades. I wonder if he'll go into a decline like he did after that slip c Chelsea last season. Hope so.

... & miss the semi-final. Maybe he won't play at Wembley ever again. What a crying shame.

Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

"I need to accept it, the decision was right. I've let down my team-mates and the supporters. I take full responsibility. I've been in the game long enough when you do something like that. I take full responsibility.

"I don't know what caused it. I don't know. Probably just a reaction to the initial tackle. I shouldn't say more about it really, I've just come out here to apologise to the dressing room and supporters."

errrr.... hmmmmmm... what about apologising to the bloke you actually stamped on? :conf:

Nope. Far too technical for me. There were full internet articles on proper newspaper sites on 'Twitter's reaction' to the sending off ten minutes after it happened

It is 25 years to the day that Liverpool, managed by King Kenny, last won the League Title.

In those 25 years, Liverpool have spent £770m trying to win it again. Shame.
