Oh how I miss him.
A must win
Away from home
They win 3-0 and I believe it's Sam's old mate next, Arsenal.

He could see that arrogant tit wenger off if they slip out of the top 4. cant see it sadly.Hoboh wrote:I knowLeverEnd wrote:Nice bit of arms and legs from Big Sam in the tunnel after the win at Norwich, squaring up to a couple of players who were having a go at his.

Re: Tonight's Football
Have to wonder about this referee at Leicester.
I mean Vardy, I could see why he was sent off, but it were harsh in my view.
The West Ham penalty, if you're giving that you're giving 5 a game.
Then Huth was blatantly fouled in the box with an arm round his neck, and no penalty.
EDIT: And I'm not sure that was a penalty either.

Some bizarre decision - fcuking West Ham, can't trust them to get fcuking anything right.
Re: Tonight's Football
I think vardy has had that coming for a while. I'm enjoying the Leicester story like most people but I've been saying for a while now that vardy cheats.

I don't think he's too bad. I mean he's quick and runs at defenders and will be in a lot of those 50:50 situations.LeverEnd wrote:I think vardy has had that coming for a while. I'm enjoying the Leicester story like most people but I've been saying for a while now that vardy cheats.
I'm not sure it was even a dive. Not a foul but not necessarily a dive either.
Re: Tonight's Football
I do. And worse than one where they feel a bit of contact and go down easily. It looked premeditated, looked for the contact so he could go down and then threw hi self theatrically. There's nothing wrong with tempting a foul but that was just blatant cheating for me. I love what ranieri and Leicester are doing but I can't take to vardy.BWFC_Insane wrote:I don't think he's too bad. if Freedman's scouts had a clue we'd have had a go for him. But they didn't. So we didn't.Worthy4England wrote:I'd swap Madine for him...
Though yes, can't actually LIKE him. But I'd cope.

Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

My favourite vardy moment of the season was when someone pointed out that he looks like Steptoe.

Vardy has been discussed by our very own experts on here from time to time...bobo the clown wrote:if Freedman's scouts had a clue we'd have had a go for him. But they didn't. So we didn't.Worthy4England wrote:I'd swap Madine for him...

back in 2012, Bowtun Warrior reckoned we should sign Jordan Rhodes - but folk reckoned he was marked for higher things and wouldn't come to us... Some were a bit sniffy about the idea of buying someone from league 1 - notably, Turkish Trotter - who came up with this marvellous (with hindsight) sarcastic riposte!!
Bowtun Warrior had commented that Rhodes was "pure quality"...
Turkish Trotter wrote: No he isn't. League 1 means nothing, our entire squad would be class in league 1. Until he's played in a top league he's nothing. Or perhaps we should buy Jamie Vardy from Fleetwood Town, 31 goals last season in the conference, he's proper quality FACT ITK. You don't even know how much skillz he got.

Jamie Vardy is a right scamp. He's ace!

What a miss that was from Dele Alli...
Spurs winning 3-0 against Stoke, away - it could've been 5, 6 or 7 fairly easily...

Tottenham Hotspur are going to win the league. Put your house on it.

They're playing exceptional football but given they're still five points behind I'll resist
Nero fiddles while Gordon Burns.
Re: Tonight's Football
Spurs may well catch Leicester - bu even if they don't, they're having a pretty good go at finishing above Arsenal... 8pts ahead now having played one game more. The one thing Arsenal fans used to be able to say after not winning any trophies again was "at least we can laugh at Spurs"...

Re: Tonight's Football
The Vardy extended ban will make it harder Leicester I think. They've got away games at Man Utd and Chelsea. With Vardy I could see them having a chance of 4 points from those games. Without him, it looks tough as so much of their counter is to do with his pace and movement. They have Everton and Swansea at home and I think HAVE to win both.
Spurs are on good for and you'd expect them to win their remaining games. Means Leicester need 3 wins or 2 wins and a draw. Spurs I suppose could get nervous and slip up somewhere, I mean it isn't unlike them.
I actually think for once it is a genuinely exciting end to the season at the top of the Premiership!
