Tonight's Football

There ARE other teams(we'd have no-one to play otherwise) and here's where all-comers can discuss the wider world of football......

As long as Roy has learnt that Phil Jones is not an international central midfielder it will all have been worth it!

Apparently an English Wimminz team are to recommence a match at a penalty with 18 seconds to go a couple of days after the match. This was decided by some UEFA committee because the ref had made a mistake !!

Some fckg precedent that is.

Stupid, stupid, stupid pirrocks.

See .... The thin end of the wedge just widened a little.

Derby behind to Brentford at home, great goal. There's always one contender at least who bugger it up near the end, looks like them this time. Might not even make the playoffs after being title contenders. Poor old Schteve.
Brentford on the other hand could go straight up again, into the Prem, and then release their manager. Bonkers.
I wonder sometimes how many clubs would ditch the promotion manager if they could with a golden handshake and get a big name manager in for the Premier League.

Had eyes on the Brentford game from the start of the season thinking we might not play them next year. I could be right! Hope they do. Looking forward to four pubs.

Just watching MOTD, the Bishop of Burnley was in the crowd wearing a burnley scarf. Turns out he's an Arsenal fan. Bloody clergy, hedging their bets! I'm suddenly suspicious of that Bish character. How many scarves in his cloakroom?

A Man City dorris footballer has apologised after posing for a selfie with Louis Van Gaal on Sunday night.

This, for reasons so far beyond me that I can't put them into words, is apparently "news" according to the BBC, who report that she says,

"I appreciate the significance of my actions and assure everyone connected with City that I am proud to represent the club".

I think it's pretty clear she has no fecking appreciation of the significance of her actions at all!

Just watching football highlights, Ashley Barnes' first booking was hilarious/ Rare you see a tackle so late he misses not just but the ball but the man as well. What a tit.

I understand the FA have demanded the game be replayed and will do so until the right result is arrived at.

What will poor Stevie do on his birthday otherwise ? (you DID know the Cup Final is being held on Gerrard's birthday, didn't you ?)
