Amazing for West Ham.

Disgusting from their fans earlier in the game, mind you.

Would be very funny if it got taken away though can't see it.

Thrilled for Nobby anyway.

Penalty all day long that - he nearly threw it to the keeper...

They're making a bit of a fuss about winning the European equivalent of the Papa John's Trophy...
As did we (and still do)

I don’t normally want English teams to win in Europe (apart from Arsenal obviously) but found myself quite pleased for West Ham last night.

Champions league final very familiar if you watched much of Bolton home games last season. Inter absolutely perfect so far. City very much like Tuesday night under par Ian Evatt side.

Normally I’d agree tbh but it’s been a while since CL football! Looking forward to taking my kids next season. They don’t remember it!

And yet they are taking the cup home.

Might shut up the red side of Manchester now.

I’d rather be a football club than a corporate entity. Arsenal died as a meaningful football club serving a local community long ago.

Yeah. It’s eclipsed everything. They were awful tonight. But that’s how it goes. Got the luck when it counted. And they deserve it. A superb side.

That's the benefit of Pep's coaching, though. You can have poor individual displays and still be the better side. Inter had to be perfect to win, City didn't.

Pep will have spent the entire season planning how to be better next season. It'll be interesting to see who they sign and what he tweaks.

In your (largely uneducated) opinion. This season (and the end of last) has been some of the most connected with the club and team I’ve felt in a long time. I can’t put my finger on why exactly, it’s not just that results have been better, there’s more to it than that. The atmosphere is belting at the moment and yes, they are a big business compared to smaller football clubs but they are one of the clubs that go above and beyond to connect with the local community IMHO. So respectfully, I disagree.

Average season ticket price £1268.

Out of their way indeed…….

Anything can happen in football, especially in their position. It'd be a hell of a way to go out.

There hasn't been a "Big 6" for 30 years. Arsenal managed what?.3/4? Chelsea, similar? Liverpool,1. It doesn't exist.
