Amazing for West Ham.
Disgusting from their fans earlier in the game, mind you.

Yeah - but at least ours was the proper PJT!boltonboris wrote: ↑Thu Jun 08, 2023 8:50 amAs did we (and still do)Worthy4England wrote: ↑Wed Jun 07, 2023 9:24 pmPenalty all day long that - he nearly threw it to the keeper...

Me too. Nice to see someone in London can win a trophyGooner Girl wrote: ↑Thu Jun 08, 2023 9:08 amI don’t normally want English teams to win in Europe (apart from Arsenal obviously) but found myself quite pleased for West Ham last night.

Can’t decide which I would prefer more. The glory of the papa johns trophy or a season of champions league football ahead….Harry Genshaw wrote: ↑Sat Jun 10, 2023 10:41 amMe too. Winning something? I'd rather be shit and won a pot, than nearly not and won absolutely feck all.Gooner Girl wrote: ↑Sat Jun 10, 2023 8:55 pmCan’t decide which I would prefer more. Normally I’d agree tbh but it’s been a while since CL football! Looking forward to taking my kids next season. They don’t remember it!Worthy4England wrote: ↑Sat Jun 10, 2023 9:44 pmWinning something? And yet they are taking the cup home.BWFC_Insane wrote: ↑Sat Jun 10, 2023 8:42 pmChampions league final very familiar if you watched much of Bolton home games last season. Inter absolutely perfect so far. City very much like Tuesday night under par Ian Evatt side.
I’d rather be a football club than a corporate entity. Arsenal died as a meaningful football club serving a local community long ago.Worthy4England wrote: ↑Sat Jun 10, 2023 9:44 pmWinning something? Yeah. It’s eclipsed everything. They were awful tonight. But that’s how it goes. Got the luck when it counted. And they deserve it. A superb side.DJBlu wrote: ↑Sat Jun 10, 2023 10:00 pmAnd yet they are taking the cup home.BWFC_Insane wrote: ↑Sat Jun 10, 2023 8:42 pmChampions league final very familiar if you watched much of Bolton home games last season. Might shut up the red side of Manchester now.
He might not be there…GhostoftheBok wrote: ↑Sat Jun 10, 2023 10:27 pmThat's the benefit of Pep's coaching, though. You can have poor individual displays and still be the better side. Inter had to be perfect to win, City didn't.
Pep will have spent the entire season planning how to be better next season. It'll be interesting to see who they sign and what he tweaks.
In your (largely uneducated) opinion. This season (and the end of last) has been some of the most connected with the club and team I’ve felt in a long time. I can’t put my finger on why exactly, it’s not just that results have been better, there’s more to it than that. The atmosphere is belting at the moment and yes, they are a big business compared to smaller football clubs but they are one of the clubs that go above and beyond to connect with the local community IMHO. So respectfully, I disagree.BWFC_Insane wrote: ↑Sat Jun 10, 2023 10:05 pmI’d rather be a football club than a corporate entity. Average season ticket price £1268.Gooner Girl wrote: ↑Sat Jun 10, 2023 10:37 pmIn your (largely uneducated) opinion. Anything can happen in football, especially in their position. It'd be a hell of a way to go out.
