Steve Clarke

There ARE other teams(we'd have no-one to play otherwise) and here's where all-comers can discuss the wider world of football......

Unbelievable.

ffs ... he really had shown promise. The wheels have come off a little these past 5 or 6 weeks but jeez. Must be like working in North Korea.

He sounded really, really down on 606 earlier. I guess he knew what was coming.

Is it still that Peace chappie coz he was an odd fckr.

Well, that lets Megson back in I guess. (snigger)

Ludicrous, and depressingly unsurprising.

Just thought .... he's an ex #2 at West Ham.

It may be quite a challenge for the Dave's to maintain their view of keeping Mr A on board, despite today's interview.

31 points in the last 35 games.. Not great is it. Missed that goalscorer they had on Lukaku. WBA can't afford to replace somebody like that.

That's a problem with loan signings. They paper over cracks temporarily.

... & they have Anelka barely played since signing due to injury, illness and getting all upset when his agent died. I think this is his retirement season and sad to see him simply fade out.

I hadn't realised the 2013 form had been that poor. They must have bursts of performance though as this time last year it has gone very well and again this, after 6 or 8 games they were showing well.

Aside from their early 2012/13 form and the beast that is Lukaku keeping their heads above water last season, they've been on the slide since Hodgson left...

Oh absolutely. As I said above, having a billionaires shit hot striker on a borrow for a season wouldn't half paper over some cracks! The kid is a phenomenal talent who is infinitely better than anybody that West Brom could otherwise afford & attract

I went on one of their forums towards the end of last season snooping to see what they thought about dawson. There were a lot of rumblings from their fans about Clarke falling out with people and the dressing room being split over the Odemwingie issue. Apparently some players thought Clarke was wrong to play him again, can't disagree with them if true. Was amazed by how negative the fans were after a pretty decent season though. Because they started a lot better than they finished I guess.
This is just speculation from a fans' forum though, and what do people who post on those know about anything eh?
