Folding like a house of cards 8)

Everybody is grassing on each other

Jack Warner has said he knows why the little munchkin has resigned as well. All this gets better and better.

Is this going to force Blatter into going immediately or still trying to hang on for around a year?

It comes to something when Jack fecking Warner's about to spill the beans. Still, I don't suppose he has much left to lose. Likewise that fat Yank that looks like he has birds nesting in his beard. Absolutely agree with you - it is indeed getting better and better. I just don't know why it's taken so long. Panorama were all over this, what? Three years ago?

Morbid thing to say I know, but I wonder if Fred Done will give me some odds on Blatter being found dead in his home in the next week or two

Jack Warner said he fears for his life earlier today :|

Big prison sentences await some and lots of money to be lost. Wouldn't surprise me if a few hitmen are fully booked for the next few months

New things coming out daily now.

The latest is that the Irish FA were paid off to not take legal action over the Thierry Henry handball.

I don't think Blatter taunting the FBI when he got re-elected did him any favours.

How used to paying people off do you have to be to give Ireland £5m because Thierry Henry did a handball the ref missed?! What exactly were the FAI "suing" them for?!

Precisely. It shows an utterly endemic attitude for misuse of funds and power. I guess they didn't even see why this was wrong.

I recall the Irish were trying to get added to the World Cu 32 as a 33rd, Wild-Card team.

I wasn't referring to foul play in fairness, but Blatter is 80 odd, has had a luxurious life full of his own ego and that has come crashing down on him.. Will he want to spend the rest of his life behind bars, or decide he's had a good innings (in his own opinion) and call it a day on his life.

He once said, he's one of the only men in the world with total freedom of movement and wherever he goes, the leaders of the country roll out the red carpet for him and treat him like the worlds most important figure.. Must be tough to go from that, to sharing a shower with rapists and murderers

Horrible thing to say I know, but can imagine it's going through his head

can sepp and warner just not use some of their looted jew gold , one of o.binladen's bankcards fifa bribes to pay for bodyguards if they "fear for their lives" ?

they could repeatedly head an old football to bring on parkinson's disease to avoid going to prison , not sure if theres a specialist old people's home for FIFA officials like they have for actors and the like.

new tertiary sector business idea right there. You'd only have to open one, which would keep costs low .

Panorama can do two investigations at once in it too.

^^^ I quite agree Boris, but the wheels of justice turn ever so slowly and he'll be able to afford the very best defence lawyers. I think it'll be a good while before he needs to do that ... even if he has the courage.

He'll be too old, frail and be suffering from dementia by the time owt gets anywhere near a trial. Hecould probably swing all three of them, right now.

I see they've delayed the bidding process for the 2026 World Cup. I can only assume that this is because no bugger knows who to bribe anymore...

Probably a sociopath.

I wonder if he is fearful of the stories that will emerge when he is dead? His family must be.

Better news from the High Court of Corruption. Blatter didn't resign...

Wonder if he'll present the Womens' World Cup Trophy in Canada as he normally does, or whether he's not as confident as he makes out.
