This has got to be a micky take and a sleazy one at that!

While in general it may have been 'over the top' (or even 'under the jumper') but I see no relevance whatsoever to "safeguarding issues" with having a female steward posted in the bogs.
Just whingeing, 'how very dare they' sensationalism.

Imagine if it had been a male steward in the ladies toilets. I suspect that Stevenage would be looking to get someone else in to do their stewarding by now. No difference imo.

Main thing that strikes me is I don't remember any of this in the past at games despite some far bigger crowds. Scuffles and some ale abuse, that's life at football matches, but in the "toilets" at Burnden ( even the Reebok/Macron) I never remember a single incident with sexual overtones. Anybody involved in anthing like that wouldn't have needed stewards except medical ones. Pxxxxxg into a piece of half round drainpaipe at Burnden whilst trying to avoid getting drowned from splashers wasn't really conductive to much else except escape a.s.a.p.

The stewards should be given commendations for asking to see the flobbering, veiny tits of the womenfolk of Grimsby. I'd have walked off site!
