Another stunning performance....and fantastic for our goal difference
What a turnaround in these last 2 games, they have either just clicked at the right time or just having Pratley's back in midfield has made the difference - Morais is on fire, ALF banging the goals in for fun and the back four are solid again.
Well done PP, whatever you've done keep it going for the next 10 games....

I don't feel as if I know them but they take up all my time.Dave Sutton's barnet wrote: ↑Tue Mar 14, 2017 9:04 pmHello! Hello! Bolton are back!

Anyway, bet they've had enough of us...

Do not trust atoms. They make up everything.

Great result.
Two consecutive matches scoring four goals is definitely a statement of intent from the lads.

All four goals tonight were of the same format, crosses into the box and us coming in on them. I reckon Northampton's manager will be concentratng right now on stopping Morais, not giving corners and free kicks away and organising his defence a bit better than Gillingham's. Northampton are only four points and two positions away from the Gills in mid-table so we might expect a similar game to tonight, but I'm betting with a better defence. Phil might need to have a Plan B ready. Not sure of his fitness situation right now, but if his suspensions are over, Spearing coming through the middle, occasionally, a la Mark Davies, even Pratley doing the same, may be an option. Any which way but get the points....please...
Si Deus pro nobis, quis contra nos?

I suspect Spearing is still injured, Tango, but I agree with everything else.

It looks like we have found the right formula at just the right time. Where we once had a few players who were rusty due to lack of match time, we now have physically fresh players who look like they can outrun the opposition. Huge credit to PP and his staff who have managed to fashion three different successful teams whilst facing the uncertainty of a transfer embargo, living on a financial knife edge, and bad luck with injuries.
Let us hope we can see this through till the end. COYW

Well am I glad I went in the end! They were utterly pedestrian and our goals mostly looked rather easy, but deceptively so I think - there was plenty of skill involved in working them and steely determination in putting them in the back of the net. I'd presume they were perfectly aware of the Morais threat given our preceding match but they simply couldn't do anything about it - they seemed petrified of him as he stepovered his way closer and closer dancing the fullback backwards as he went. I think our height has played a major part and Pratley has added a centre-mid foil in that. Karacam's appearance was a bit disappointing, several loose balls, but hopefully he'll warm up and settle. Good song from the 517 running through every player name check ode they could recall (too much Nicky Hunt involved there for my liking ). For conceding 4 I'm more than happy to let the Gills off the fact they only had bottles of Bulmers and lager sold out in seconds flat. Onwards and upwards! WATOAOW!
Everything but the game: Because it's not just a game, it's a way of life.

Did they miss us while we were away? Did they hang our picture on their wall?Prufrock wrote: ↑Tue Mar 14, 2017 10:46 pmI don't feel as if I know them but they take up all my time.Dave Sutton's barnet wrote: ↑Tue Mar 14, 2017 9:04 pmHello! Hello! Bolton are back!

A cracking save away from Darren Pratley scoring the best goal of all time.
