Madine's definitely injured then. Long up front of Alf might work okay although neither has much height. Wilkinson apart we're not blessed with any box giants. Looks like Wheats, Dervite and Beevers will have to come up and show them how it's done. Set pieces it is then.... :D

Wheat's is geeting pesented with Champion of the season award, news (via Zico) is that 22,500 are expected and the place sounds really alive. Zico babbling on top revs and the mic box is buzzing. Also talk of a minut'e applause in the 17th minute...then team news. All set up for a classic.... :oyea:

Doubt there's much need for Radio Tango today as they'll all be at the ground. Anyway, sun's shining and the ref's wearing "magenta"..wow. All set then, coin's tossed and we're playing from right to left. (lot of use that is on radio). Spearing sets it off and Alf gives away a free kick. A wallop goes straight to Mark Howard and the crowd are singing as Pratley blazes our first effort into Wiganland. Throw us, Dervite and...back and forth and they clear. Beevers gives a free away pretty near out box and....23 yards....and...right at Howard who clears. They come again, Morais wins us a throw and head tennis resumes. All sounding uncertain yet, and Zico has a splutter. Moxey, but Alf can't win the header. Alf and...Long and....a big Moxey throw and....another Moxey throw. Big lads sally forth and....the keeper grabs it and clears for a throw.

Throw them, they try a sally but we turn it round. Moxey throw again and....and....some back and forth and a throw them . They come forth and get a good shot in that Howard has to make a save. Never too early to get our first goal lads, they come and we clear. They sally again and...Vela has to step in and give them a throw. Goes out and we get one in reply. Scunthorpe one down and..we go and win a throw again. And.....Beavers flicks on, Wheater and....Long is offside.

Hearing you, DJB. God to know. Free kick them now in our half and...they get a nother shot in but it all ends back with their keeper. Moxey throw and...Pratley flicks, McGuire clears. Dervite, Morais now and....when Zico stops howling i MIGHT HEAR WHAT HAPPENED? They clear now and sally at us. Bad pass them and Moxey throws. Spearing, Beevers, Wheater and....mic lads have a chat. We send one forth, Morais goes, Vela can't control and well, we need to score our first. Their keeper clears, back and forth, throw us. Moxey and.....long and....Alf and...they knock it into touch.

Bad back pass from Pratley loses oot amd Moxey throws again. Howard wallops and....it goes to Morais, Dervite and then Dervite does well again and...we have another throw well down the alley. Spearing, Morais, and.....Moxey.....has a shot blocked and we get...another throw. And....Pratley....isn't well? (Zico). 17th minute applause then.....a cornr is headed clear and Morais....sends one on to the net top.....

Spearing, Wheater Beevers, Wheater and...mic lads have a chat and some scores that matter not. Zico had a Twitter from Ivan Klasnic and we all wish him well. Throw them, Pratley clears and another throw occurs. All scrambled to and fro before they sally forth and get in a cracking shot and Howard has to save. Is this going to plan lads? Zico dispenses some pearls of....whatever, then...Alf does well, Moxey comes, again and Beevers and we go back to Howard. Bad kick from Howard but it's a ....throw. Free kick us for offside and....Dervite has to step in and back they come again and....this is not what we planned lads, definitely not. Get the ball, play some football, break and score. Simple...

Vela does well, Long forces Anderson into a throw near the corner flag. And.....Morais and....they clear. Spearing, Morais and...he knocks a good one in and..they clear. They're playing long ball at us? Throw them now and time for us to take some control. Corner them now off Beevers and.....and....we clear. Throw them and....McGinn, Rowley and....we clear and we have a back and forth before Howard clears. Wallop from Wheats goes nowhere and the Spireies will be getting cocky soon if we don't get a grip. Wheater clears, we can't get the ball until......we clear, get a throw and.....then a free kick. And....Morais will take near their box and wide. And.....and....ping and pong and....Spearing lets it go out. They sally and...play a bit of football (which we aren't doing). Howard clears and wallops it right back to them. This is hardly out best promotion style lads, come on and.....Spearing gets decked.

And now, some pointless scores then...Morais doesn't get a free kick and Zico blasts the ref. Moxey, Beevers, Wheats, Dervite, Morais, Moxey, Long getting dragged about. Vela, Pratley......they clear and...we get a throw. Dervite and...they break and sally. All much ado about nowt from the sound of things. Time for action.....Spearing, Beevers, over Alf's head and...back and forth before some more back and forth. Alf gets it but loses out and they try again. Throw them again and...Pratley, then Beevers do well and.....we get a free kick and they get a yellow. And....time to wake up. Moxey and......Alf whips one past a post.

Well, we aren't breaking many pots yet. However.....Long isn't getting mentioned much and they break and win a corner. That was pretty quick and we have Howard to thank again. We go, Alf, Morais, Spearing, Dervite, Long getting dragged about again and...Alf, Moxey and....a goal kick. Be nic to go in at least one up at the break. We lose ou again and they break and win another corner. Only way we'll change this is to score....corner them and....Wheater clears. Alf goes, Vela can't quite reach his pass and they win a throw. Dervite gives one away and...in it goes from deep and...sme ping and pong and a shot hits Howarfd and we get away with it. A long ranger now clears our bar and....back they come again. Now Long gets decked for no result and...really, we may well be one or more behind. They aren't being overwhelmed and mic man call it all "agricultural" and.....ohhhh, Pratley head skids one way wide. That should have done better and .....it's half time. 0-0

Not sounding as highly impressive as the occasion should demand. Nice day, big crowd and prizes for the taking.....and we aren't exactly top cats right now. Hope the hair-dryer is working. Long isn't working with Alf, Wilkinson can hardly do much worse surely? Either that or Henry on or the Warbara fella given a shout.

Ha, not what I meant at all.

The gangling one can stay on the bench for the minute.

Best chances them, so far. But not too threatening. We've been not at all threatening. We need to point out to them that Alf isn't 8ft 10. Get Morais into it a bit more...

Mic man states the gap between midfield and the front lads is too big, is that the truth of it? I did state yesterday that we might have a do at somebody comeing theough the middle, a la Mark Davies instead of relying on long ball. How isn't the question, how many is, and one more than them the answer. Part Two comenceth..COME ON YOU WHITES....... :oyea: :oyea: :oyea:
