Throw us and....Moxey sends one and....Spoearing, Moxey, Pratley, Spearing, Derik, Morais and....we get a corner off Obadei. And Morais and.....outswung and....back we come and....Pratley sends one to Saddleworth. They clear and it gets to Howard. Morais, Alkf, we get it back and.....get another corner. Thi is where we excel lads, come on and...Morais and...Wheater's shot blocked and it goes back to Howard. Spearing, Derik , Morais and......Ripley amazes. Sure sound an odd commentary, but at least Zico isn't chirping in ever other word. They vist and.....and...Derick clears. Throw again us and....Some ping and pong, then we go again and.....and...we get another throw. Beevers moves forth and....Morais and....Derik, they clear, Spearing and ut goes back to Howard who clears badly along the deck. Throw them and....a bit of possesion them and....we get bodies in the way. Pratley, Moraid, Derik, Beevers, Alf, Moxey, Wheater.....and all ends in a throw to them.

Sounds like a 5-4-1 with Alf up top.

Ta. Although Morais might be the most ambitious "right-back" once could desire. :D

Certainly packing the midfield...

They sally forth, Irwin hits the deck and stays down but gets nothing. All about throw ins right now then....Spering, Dervite and...they clear long. McLaughlin then we recover it and clear. Get in lads and score, two or three if you like, but get in front. Corner us now and....Morais and....an inswinger and.....and....some silence then....a bit of handbags....and....cleared for another corner. Now's the time lads, come on and....cleared for another. Third time lucky....but cleared. Morais and it end back in Saddleworth from Pratley again.

4.5 - 3.5 - 1 - Would be more accurate I suppose.

Some inter micmen chat, then we go and....win a throw. Some meaningless stuff then...Morais and.....and...a free kick for a challenge on a White? Ref speaks to the offender, then....we need to score lads, and.....and.....Ripley saves. We defend, we lose out but Moxey nods one out for a throw them. Wheater block rubbing his wrist then.....Moxey hits the deck and Howard walops. Throw them and....now we have a throw. Moxey launches and...now them and Beevers clears....back and forth, ping and pong and not much end product and....Vela gives a free kick away. Throw them again ( how many is that? ) and Alf and....he does well but the keeper grabs it and gets a goal kick that bounces once and clears our bar.

The homers are getting a bit frisky from the sound of thigs. Good time to pop he balloon, so come on lads....Wallop into nowhere land and Beevers is accused of an unfriendly challenge, then we clear again and....Vela and....Moxey and...Spearing and....Derik and...Morais and he gets decked. Spearing also got decked. Free kick us now and....Morais and......and....in and...Beevers, they clear, Moxey...lets it go for a throw. This isn't good enough lads, come on, establish dominance. Derik, Dervite, they clear, they sally and...Morais challenges well. Throw them and.....a free kick and with the whistle due any minute.....we clear, they come back, Spearing part clears and.....Obedei figures a couple of times and they get a corner. Spearing clears but back they com and..

Half time Oldham Athletic 0.....

So for all the want,

It's apparent we require a target man up top. 0 shots on target.

I'm sincerely hoping that half was just feeling things out and applying serious damage limitaton. I reckon so because of playing Alf as the lone ranger. Time to go for that screw-turning lads. Mr Parkinson, with every respect to you, attack works and we need goals. Two skyers from Pratley isn't really a indication of intent. Sort it please. Pitch is the same for both ans we've probably played on worse...? Part Two...... :oyea:

Word from The Legendary Flanners at the ground:

"Had most of the play so far without creating a lot. Not playing too bad."

He's quite a hard man to please so that'll do for me for now. I imagine we'll push forward more this half. Need to get men in and around ALF... or just nod in a set-piece.

Still Echo Canyon over the airwaves and I'm missing the background fan noise. Pretty bad in this technology era having two baked bean tins and a ball of string, but hey ho. Here we go, lads are playing towards the faithful who deserve a bonus. Spearing clears and might need a tractor to run on this ploughed field of a pitch. Moxey, Alf....they clear, we clear and..back they come. Beevers clears and we go forth. Pratley.......Morais and.......they block and clear for a corner to us. Morais then and....and.....and....ping and pong and they clear and break. That sounded all of a shambles as Dervite goes in the book and they get a free kick. Morais, and a free kick then is cleared but they still have it. Am I wrong in wishing for a forward who'll shoot? Corner them and....ohhhh....they have a couple of chances and Howard has to be on his toes to save well. Come on lads, get stuck in and sort this.....Back they come and we have a throw.....Somebody in blue getting booked for a challenge on Vela? And...Howard wallops and....they clear for a throw. Moxey launches and....they clear, and clear again and break. Throw them and it's al too much Oldham. What's going on in Parky's head right now I wonder? Surely not just one point (although that might have to be a decent point) Now then, Spearing, Moxey, Pratley..and a throw....a Moxey launcher? no, short and Pratley gets a header in at balloon pressure. Better? Throw them again (that's about 400 I think). And....come on lads, this is Oldham....Alf, Vela, Morais and.....and....a free kick them as Pratley gets nailed. One of theirs down....
