Mick Mac's side eh?! So they'll have massive CB's and we're shit up top anyway. So nil to us is inevitable. Their centre forwards will be massive as well and will bully our lot at the back. 2-0 to the Tractor Boys.
They've had three centre-backs out injured. Up the other end, at 5ft10 each, both Joe Garner and Martyn Waghorn are more than half a foot shorter than Wheater.

The team, in squad number order, is as follows:

Alnwick, Little, Beevers, Karacan, Noone, Madine, Robinson, Cullen, Morais, Wheater, Burke

F*ck knows what formation we're playing. It could be a 5-4-1, though if Parky's attempted to solidify the midfield by putting Burke in there instead of Pratley, I don't know who's going to play in behind in a 4-2-3-1. Perhaps it's a 4-3-3 with Morais and Noone either side of Madine?

Scrap that, I reckon it's 4-5-1 and we've set up to keep it tight. I don't know if having Burke in midfield is really a good idea but nothing else we've tried has worked so I suppose it's a least worth a go.

No idea but could it not be the usual 3-5-2 with Karacan Cullen and Morais as the middle 3. Noone playing deep off Madine?

I feel pretty certain that Parky wouldn't play Madine in the centre. If it is a 4-5-1 then, reservations about Burke aside, it could work quite well for us. Solidish but with some width.

Marc Iles reckons it's 4-5-1 with Burke in front of the back four.

We're gonna get humped.

I'm still up for a win. Anyway, all the ads are almost done, Ramsbottom kitchens, Tiles etc,and Metro taxis out the way, so, it's the time. Deep breathing on the spot, ankle flexing and finger stretching sorted and....oh, some chat about Bury, as ever, never heard of this ref, and..off we go...Come on you Whites..... .. :oyea: :oyea: :oyea:

Big throw for them and....bit of this and that....it ends with a goal kick us. Madine gets done for a foul early and mic man reckons 5-2-3? Madine loses out and it sounds a bit sabre -waving just now. Wheater launches but it goes for a throw them. They try a sally at us but McGoldrick is offside. To and fro, Cullen wins, loses and wins it back and Little has a throw but Cullen clears from Noone. Throw them, ping and pong and another throw. Two passes and a wallop gets us a free kick for them offside.

A sally set off by Wheater gets broken up and we get a throw near our jumpers. They come again, Madine wins it and we go hunting. The Homers try a sally and have a corner. And....in and....Ben caught it but got barged and had a head clash. Ben gets a goalkick and....Madine, Noone and....a shot is blocked. Robinson is blocked and now Morais wins a free kick after getting decked. One in the family jewels and....Wheater just beaten to it. Morais, Robinson, Madine and...a throw.....Noone doesn't get a free kick, they do. Sounding lively enough so far.

They get the ball midfield and come at us. Some here and there and we get it clear. They clear and break but we clear it and now we go forth. Burke, Noone gives it away and......we get a free kick off Ayorfa? Madine now and does well and Cullen and....Noone hits one over the bar...

They clear their box and move forth. Bit of possession and...some scores, then we get the ball and break via Burke.....poor cross and comes to naught. Goal kick them, more scores then......forth it comes and some more to and fro before Ward hit on high, wide and not so handsome. We go to Bury.....

Goal kick and a throw to them. More scores then....some more and....Beevers, them, a throw us and some media nonesense then.....some chat, then McGoldrick loses it and Madine does well and clears. Noone, Morais, Beevers.....Morais and.....Beevers, Robinson and.....Little and....Noone hits one a the keeper after going down in the box. They break and try one that Ben clears. Home fans making a bit of noise as they have a bit of possession and move forth. Connely....some head tennis and....Ben moves in and gathers it. They have it and sally again. Jem and Little do well and it ends back with Ben. Madine gets a free kick from a fair way out and.....and...Little puts one back in and....Noone's shot gets a corner. (Didn't see Morais clear..apparently) They clear, Morais and.... they eventually wallop it clear. Throw the now and they comne at us. We clear, some scores on the air and....and...we get a throw. Decent start says mic man.

Ooh, Madine wasted a pass to Karajan and....Noone goes bak and.....the mailman doesn't make a recorded delivery. They try a quick one and....we get some scores and...the homers get a free kick. A goal for us about now wouldn't go amiss. Ward now for them and...and....in and....the ref spots a naughty and we get a free kick. That elusive goal still, er, eluding...
We sally forth and.....and, Noone and.....they clear for a throw to us. And, Little, Morais and.....Noone heads one past. Goal kick and a trip to Duddesldorf...oh, sorry, Bury.

More scores, Madine, Morais, Robinson and....cleared. Robinson and....a class of heads between three players?? We might find out who in a minute when mic man comes off Twitter? More scores....some more and....Robinson and one of theirs come back on. They clear, Wheater, Burke and back to Ben. Wallop and....Madine, Robinson and....ooooh, Madine has an angled effort pushed out for a corner. Morais and.....and....Cullen, Robinson and...intercepted and...we get a throw. We sound to be trying some and maybe, just maybe we can get one in the bag....Little does well and clears. Keeper gethers and clears but McGoldrick goes offside. More scores.....then....a wallop and the ref steps in as handbags are waved threateningly as Madine gets an elbow. Morew scores, then....the ref makes Madine knock it back to their keeper? The Homers sally forth and.....lose ot to a goal kick. Lucozade time approaching.

Another collision lets them win the ball but they get a throw. And....back it goes...Wheats clears, Burke slices one out for a corner and....Ward.....and.....Ayorfa? gets on it back post but Toblerones it. Madine gets decked and....we get a kick. Mailman sights the rifle and...Madine and....Burke volleys, we go back and....they clear and it ends with Ben. Mic man reckons a good first half for us. We go and Morais and.....they get a throw. We clear via Cullen. They get a throw off Morais and Madine is accused of cruelty and they get a free kick. Connely lives, and now.....free them, Ward, Ayorfa and Ben grabs it. Burke now as we recover, but they get it back and sally. McGoldrick's cross poor and gives us a goal kick. And......Some this and that, then Jem goes and Morais and....Madine, Burke, Cullen and....Robinson and......Noone hit Connelly in the mush and we get a corner. And, Morais and....Little and Karajan and.....Lucozade and 0-0.

It sounds as though it's an entertaining match and that we're right in the thick of it. Good to hear.
