No he didn't - Celina wanted to come to Bolton, he even posted a photo of him driving to the Macron - but Parkinson said that he had other / better targets.Dave Sutton's barnet wrote: ↑Sat Sep 16, 2017 4:38 pmWe were - he chose Suffolk instead. Maybe he'd heard folks didn't get paid on time.

Let's go to Bury....let's not. Let's score one here and....we go and....Karajan sends one into the ether. Ten to go and....Wheater gives one away in our half. And.....and.......some confusion lets a shot in before Wilbraham gets us away. We go Cullen and Robinson. Burke and....they recover and break. Good play from McGoldrick and Noone gets carded. Come on Whites, remember Leicester...Come on......Burke gets treatment...

I see BarcaDerby that team who played us off the park in 2nd gear & a team who we shouldn't even be expected to compete against are 3-1 down at Real Bristol City

Burton are beating Fulham, Millwall are beating Leeds. Only good news is that Preston have turned round a 1-0 HT deficit at Birmingham into a 3-1 lead. But then, other teams' results mean nowt until we start winning.Peter Thompson wrote: ↑Sat Sep 16, 2017 4:45 pmI see BarcaDerby that team who played us off the park in 2nd gear & a team who we shouldn't even be expected to compete against are 3-1 down at Real Bristol City

Burke off the pitch ...and....back on again....we win a throw......and.....and....Cullen and....intercepted and break and Armstrong and.....blocked...shxt. Robinson wins a corner. And Noone and....it ends with the keeper. Five to go and....more scores and...they win a free kick off Jem. Mic man rambling then they sally at us and....we get a goal kick. COME ON.......four mins plus......and....all we need is love....er, a goal sorry.....and....they clear for a throw. Robinson and......and.....they clear, we get it away to Robinson and...they clear and....Cellini slips up and we come again and.....they clear again. Throw us and....mic man chunners about City scoring six, then.....their keeper wastes a bit of time and.....they nip in and score another. 2-0 them for all our effort.

Man alive. Two goals from five accurate attempts. It's a hell of a knack to have.
It's mid-September, but next weekend's game at home to Brentford (two points and two places above us, assuming they stay 1-1) looks mahoosive.

Re: Turning the tide? Orwell adrift? Ipswich (A) 16/9/17 3pm
How much shxt luck can we have? A second was always on the cards after all our pressing. McGoldrick gets the the home applause. Parky must be pig sick about today. Mic man mumbles then they get a yellow, we get a free kick and then a corner. They clear, we send it back and win a free 25 out. And.....Noone sends it skywards to nowhere. I think that'll have to be it lads. We didn't sound to deserve that. Last throw, Jem, Robinson, Beevers, Wilbrahan clears the keeper and bar in a parody of Madine. That's it. 2-0 loss.

FT.
Scariest thing is four goalless league games. In fact in the last six league games the only goal we've scored was a rather lucky injury-time meaningless consolation.

Shit results elsewhere too, bar the first one here:
Birmingham 1-3 Preston
Bristol C 4-1 Derby
Burton 2-1 Fulham
Brentford 1-1 Reading
Millwall 1-0 Leeds
(Barnsley host Villa at 5.30pm)

Re: Turning the tide? Orwell adrift? Ipswich (A) 16/9/17 3pm
Pretty grim. We have been the better team, created chances by the sound of it, yet still lost. Whilst there are some midifielders out there who might improve that department, it is very unlikely there are any Championship level goalscorers, so we are going to have find some magic goal dust from somewhere, or, more realistically, suffer more defeats when we have the better of the play.
Very hard to see us not finishing bottom, but lets take the positives, in that we went away to a mid-table level Championship side and had the better of the play, and it took a fluke for them to get the first.
