I accept "it's not betting advice", but as I've already bet it's nice to get a small confirmation that 8 home wins is not improbable (especially as I got odds of 298.3-1). I don't like the 'fact' that Bolton are the second least likely to win tonight though.
Fourth least. Millwall, Villa and Forest all have slightly lower percentage chances. Dunno why they're in that nearly-but-not-quite-right order.
Oops, I just assumed they were stacked in decreasing order.

I'd say the fault isn't yours, and that Ben invited that assumption with the not-quite-right order. But as he's obviously in possession of a far more graphically ordered mind than I can ever hope to attain – I can barely draw a bath - I'll let it slide on this occasion.

Three points are all both sides desperately want. A draw will be only of little use to us, none to them. I'm seeing a battle with maybe a 4-2 result (in our favour, of course). Never too early to send out a " COME ON YOU WHITES" chant, so "COME ON YOU WHITES....." ... :oyea: :oyea: :oyea: :oyea:

It's Sunderland. It's a Must Win Game. Let's go 3-4-3 with Cough, Walker and Alf up front. Take the game to them and they'll crumble.

I predict a different set up and a tense 1-1 draw, with us adopting a 3-4-3 in the last ten minutes to find an equaliser. Let's be honest here, anything less than 3 points tonight heralds the continuation of a poor run with very little light at the end of the tunnel. Personally, I don't think it's hyperbole to say that if we lose tonight, we'll be back to playing League 1 football next season.

Just been reading through some Sunlin fans' tweets. They are not sounding optimistic about tonight one little bit and sounds like the team/club is on its knees tbh.

Fire to be back in't belly for us in a 4-1 win. Ameobi hat-trick. 8)

To paraphrase Snoopy sat on his dog kennel, typewriter in front: "It was a dark and stormy night...",

Aaron effin Wilbraham -- would rather have Emile H back in the squad..... some of our younger players and ALF must be in a state of disbelief/despair

On the minutes now, ten or so, then crunch time. Going to be a night to remember (apparently). Just heard Wheats being a bit positive in an interview, tension mounts ( dog doesn't seem excited, he's gone to sleep. Ah well, all ready and hot tea within reach. (Andrews already consumed)...so, bring it on.... :oyea:

So. Little suspended; Vela injured; Derik, Burke and Robinson drop to the bench. In come Fil Morais, Andy Taylor, Jem Karacan, Zach Clough and Aaron Wilbraham.

Could be a back three in a 3-5-2:
-------Dervite-Wheater-Beevers-------
Morais-Henry-Ameobi-Karacan-Taylor
-----------Wilbraham-Clough-----------

Could be a back three in a 3-4-3:
---Dervite-Wheater-Beevers--
Morais-Henry-Karacan-Taylor
--Ameobi-Wilbraham-Clough--

Could be a back four in a 4-2-3-1:
Dervite-Wheater-Beevers-Taylor
--------Henry-----Karacan---------
Morais-------Clough-------Ameobi*
-------------Wilbraham-------------

*these three could be in various formations - all three have played left, right and centre

Whatever it is, it's different, it has the potential to be fluid, and I hope it works... COYWM

The gladiators are out and an estimated 1500-2000 Black Cats faithful in attendence (although the team are in sky blue, apparently) . Pitch is perfect says mic man and...Burton have gone one up against Barnsley....we begin....

Micman reckons a flat back four....Wheats sallies forth, Sammi does like wise and....the keeper catches it and clears. Lee Camp is the man. Throw to the visitors, mic lads chat, and.....another throw and...Wheats sees it out for a goal kick to Ben.

Sammi, Clouth, Wilbraham loses out, they clear. Sammi goes in, Henry gives away the first free kick and a finger wag. Karajan gives away another free kick and...ref misses a handball and Henry gives away a throw. Bit of this and that, another throw, back to them and...Olviedo? can't keep it in. We sally, try a sally that fails, then they sally at us and Dervite knocks it out for a throw to them. Goal k8ick us now and.....a wallop from Ben and...a throw, some scores..or not...Boro go one up...
(don't let Burton win)...Morais and Sammi win a thow and....a launch and...we lose out. Wilbraham, Henry, Sammi, Morais....Sammi again and....Clough can't make anything of that. Throw us now.

Official Twitter feed thinks otherwise:
It's a 3-4-2-1 formation for Wanderers tonight with @moraisfilipe20 and Andrew Taylor outwide with @ZachClough on the left and Sammy Ameobi on the right behind Aaron Wilbraham.

Karajan seems off the pace, says micman. Taylor, ref misses a challenge, Dervite comes forward and...it goes to their keeper. Goal kick, they break and flash one across the goal. Not really a chance, and a goal kick us. Taylor, Clough...loses it and back they come. A goal is what we need, a goal, a goal, my kingdom for a goal. Moais, Sammi, Morais and.....he wins a corner...and....and......Morais, an outswinger that the ref nails Wheats for. Free kick them. Morias did well there. Throw us now and..some irrelevant scores.....and....we get a delayed free kick. Brum down to and.......we cscore....1-0 us from a free kick...

They went 1-0 up in the first minute at Barnsley, whose new gaffer might have hoped for a better start. In truth it's not awful for Burton to win at Barnsley, especially IF we win - at kick-off Burton were four points behind us, Barnsley two points with a game in hand.

Hull are losing 1-0 at Boro, and Brentford have just gone 1-0 up against Birmingham. Our turn...
