In the pub. Abysmal 4G, really sporadic. And the barmaid asked me something and I hadn't a clue what she said... My work pal had to translate, so I've now got a 'orse in t'granashnal on't local swipstek - tha's got to know thee Tha's and Thee's round'ere.
It's too nice a day to have a miserable day therefore we'll win.

We've won just one of the last 46 away Championship matches, drew 13, lost 32... Didn't realise it was that bad

I've been passing Barnsley every day this week. Couldn't do it again at the weekend. Just seen where they are in the table. Gulp!

Can't see anything other than a home win and can't see us scoring another goal this season.

Just as I feared, a very defensive team, with Clough not even making the bench. It's s**t or bust today. PP is going to get slaughtered if we get nothing from this game.
Uma mesa para um, faz favor. Obrigado.

Alnwick, Robinson, Beevers, Wheater, Burke, Little, Pratley, Henry, Morais, Ameobi, Le Fondre.
Subs: Howard, A Taylor, Dervite, Vela, Buckley, Noone, Wilbraham.
Hall and Clough not on the bench.

Good: Attacking impetus down the wings with Robinson/Little
Bad: That might leave us stretched on the counter

Neither here nor there. In my opinion it shouda been ALF and Wheater up front, or Ameobi and Clough.
At least he's got all three of Robinson, Little and Morais in there, which was a minimal requirement for me to stop moaning... So I will... stop moaning. (Until Barnsley score in ten minutes).
Anyway, making my way groundsward now...fingers knotted.

I quite like that team. Best we could have fielded in the circumstances imo.

I'm hoping Burke will shore the middle up and Pratley might just be the avenging hero coming in behind Sammi and Alf. Karajan must still be injured, suely he isn't out of favour?

Have to win, have to win. No time or room for faint-hearts today. Lots of the Whites faithful in attendance says mic man, and they don't deserve to be disappointed, so come on lads, get in there and sort it. Mug of tea steaming to hand, dog walked early and deep breathing raggedly acieved (I managed three) and there's no exuses now, so COME ON YOU WHITES.....

Ready and away....mic man kicks off with a mention of Bury, then the Oakwell tannoy booms forth. Michael Jones the ref and the ball rolls. War of the roses part eighty seven. Long balls from both sides, then Robbo goes, Morais and...they clear. They sally, Robbo clears, they hack it back and Ben says good afternoon with a wallop. We get a throw. Sammi launches one in, the reds clear for another throw to us.

Morais and Robbo work a corner and Morais will take. And....in and...Wheats heads but gets nailed for a foul. A launch from Davies and Prats heads bac then gets a free kick. Ref has a word with Henry....Ben wallops, Roobo, Morais and...they clear for a throw by Jackson. Throw again, Robbo....cleared...and they try a sally and Henry commits a foul.

Scores from Mars, Sammi goes, they clear and try a sally. Alf tackles well, but they clear. Robbo again and...a a throw to the Reds. Moore goes offside. Two to three thousand Whites faithful quoted. Morais...they clear and it all end back with Ben wallop. Mention already of Bury, then Alf gets shoved down and we have a useful area free kick. Morais and...and....outswung and....Moncur clears to Moore who gets a free kick. We go Giggling.

Some mic chat, a Ben wallop and....Robbo loses out and Hammil's effort ends in a goal kick. And now, more mic chat then the redds clear and try a sally. They sally a hoeful one that Ben grabs. Sammi, Pratly, throw to them near their box. And....Prats, them, hed tennis and Moore clears. Prats now and....Sammi and....his shot is charged down. Morais, Alf....and..the ref upsets mic man by giving a free kick to them. Back to gigg, shakers equaliser and...back to Oakwell.

Re: CRUNCH TIME. Away at Baaaarnsley. Saturday Apr14th 3pm
Score that mean nowt, we grab it ands Beevers lollops one, then nods one back to Ben. Some mic chat about this and that, then the homers sally and get a throw. Long ball, Robbo does well and Alf almost got away. A dash from them and...Wheats part clears, then Prats does likewise. A thirty yard effort is grabbed by Ben. The sally, we clear, Robbo send one and Jackson gives us a throw. Homers sally, McBirney, Moncur, Potts and....Ben saves a corner. He clears, they come again and we need to change the pressure round. Come on lads, they sally and win a throw. And.....come on lads, get some of those missing goals. And....Burke, Alf, they clear to Moor but Prats clears when he could have advanced. Wednesday one up. Throw us now, Sammi sends one in and...Reading go one up. Moore wins a corner....
