We need to support the player and Parkinson , but after Sunday match we need a deep breath and then start to lock to next season without Parkinson if we stay or go down he have to go .

If we stay up, he's done his job and met his target.
If we stay up, for me, he stays

Anderson has shown no sign of dismissing him even if we go down. Anderson is not looking at talent and future performance or development, he's merely interested in the finances, book value. Parkinson is cheap, Parkinson will stay, whatever happens (unless he himself chucks in the towel).boltonboris wrote: ↑Fri May 04, 2018 1:40 pmIf we stay up, he's done his job and met his target.

He's not shown signs in public, but behind the scenes might be a different story.Lost Leopard Spot wrote: ↑Fri May 04, 2018 1:47 pmAnderson has shown no sign of dismissing him even if we go down. I'd like to think that despite the current bad run of form that Anderson will be able to objectifiably look at the situation and have a good perspective on things when deciding whether or not Parkinson is the man for the job. Most notably: -
Our poor away record
Sale of Madine
Lack of funds
Quality of replacements (and indeed whether Clough was imposed upon him instead of getting his actual target)

If he's got any objectivity the daft c*nt could sack himself.

I am not getting any positive vibes at all coming out of the club or from Iles.
Close to radio silence from Parky, not convincing noises from a couple of the players. I remember when we had 2 points from 11 games and the general mood felt way more positive and determined than this. It would not surprise me if on Monday we see Parky's resignation and we find out there has been a breakdown of key relationships within the club over this past month.
I am mustering a COYW but I will be heading up the M5 expecting the worst. COYW.

To be honest, I'm sick of the PR around it all. Sick of the players saying they'll give it all, sick of PP saying this match is the most important, sick of Iles hamming it up (as per his job, to be fair)... I think there have been plenty of official Ken announcements this week and I'm sick to death of them. Do the pissin' talking on Sunday and pray we stay up, but most likely we'll go down.

Apart from the last sentence, petty much agree with this. Talking a good fight is fine if you fulfill the promises, but we rarely do, so I'm hoping the silence means no caja de toros and some hoofs and horns on show instead. .HMX wrote: ↑Fri May 04, 2018 10:41 pmTo be honest, I'm sick of the PR around it all. I'm with HMX on this. But, as long as we don't go bust, then I'm not too bothered about being in league one (division three).TANGODANCER wrote: ↑Fri May 04, 2018 11:22 pmApart from the last sentence, petty much agree with this. It was the beer talking last night, but I stand by most of it. I do think we'll win but fear Barnsley or Burton could get a positive freak result too.

A pitiful, woeful surrender. 0-3 Forrest.
Let players leave in Summer. Noone, Buckley, Beevers and Alf stay due to contracts and build around that

It was depressing listening to Stoke manager Paul Lambert yesterday, laughing off a £45 million bid for Jack Butland as only being enough for 1 glove.
I'd love to see them get relegated but they're in a different stratosphere now if they've got assets like that. One sale like that for us would be a complete game changer. Too bad our only realistic asset when we slipped out of the prem was CYL. What a feckin state of affairs

Only one thing matters now. All the hype, rallying calls and sabre rattling won't mean a thing come 12-30. All we can do is wish em luck and say..COME ON YOU WHITES...

I'd just like to say that on a nice sunny day like today that the team actually turns up, performs and rewards all of you regular match attenders.
And the story of doom and gloom ends here.
COME ON YOU WHITES...

Oh, and a very large thank you (not,) to the media king of bandwaggon jumpers, The Sun newspaper (and I use that laughingly. Amongst sheets of wuffle about " How to look like Meghan" and other such cxxp, "Trot Off" is their banner headline today in the "Goals" section, complete with a Forest interview and a doom and gloom report on the Whites almost condemning us to Div 1 already. Whether we win or lose, "Up yours sunshine!"
