A little fact-check for balance:BWFC_Insane wrote: ↑Wed Jan 31, 2018 1:45 pmNo I'm sure the Wigan and Cardiff failure will be great. I'm sure he'll bang in the goals we need. Cannot wait....
He scored 3 in 14 (12 starts) for a relegated Wigan side.
He's scored 3 in 10 (6 starts) for Cardiff.
Madine's tier-two records per season:
0 in 9
3 in 30
3 in 26
5 in 31
10 in 28.
Looked at another way: he's scored a goal every 237 minutes at this level. Hardly Gerd Muller but a reminder that Madine scores one every 352 minutes (before this season it was one every 447 minutes).
Bogle probably won't happen anyway, and to be clear, I'm not sure he'd be any good for us, but then I tend not to jump to conclusions. But, y'know, feel free to keep parping on your misery bassoon.

Madine's historical record means nowt. Its what he's doing now that we need to replace. Not what he did 3 years ago.Dave Sutton's barnet wrote: ↑Wed Jan 31, 2018 1:58 pmA little fact-check for balance:BWFC_Insane wrote: ↑Wed Jan 31, 2018 1:45 pmNo I'm sure the Wigan and Cardiff failure will be great. Doesn't even appear we have any actual plan in place to replace him. Which given our owners are meant to be agents is really bad.

No, as it happens mate I'm perfectly in agreement with you (on the second bit) that this is a sledge-ride down a steep hill. Today could be a very important day in the club's history. Of course you may pursue whichever coping strategy you prefer, but I refuse to take refuge in miserably presuming the worst.

Young Liverpool defender Lloyd Jones (22) - briefly linked with us this window and last summer (or possibly the summer before) - has joined Division Four leaders Luton Town for an undisclosed fee.

Insano was parping on his misery bassoon
complaining his hero Madine is off soon
but we knew all along
he'll be changing his song
When we win, there's no doubt he'll be humming a new tune

https://www.croydonadvertiser.co.uk/spo ... ns-1146035It is understood that the 29-year-old will now stay with the Eagles for the remainder of the season, following the injury sustained by Palace forward Bakary Sako in the 1-1 draw with West Ham last night (Tuesday).

Bugger. Let's see.
Meanwhile Sunderland's effort to find a goalkeeper with hands are still being thwarted. They were pinning their hopes on Andy Lonergan - imagine that - but he's staying at Leeds...

David Ornstein, BBC Sport: "Defender Reece Oxford is in Germany to finalise his return to Borussia Monchengladbach from West Ham on loan until the end of the season. No option to buy." And no idea whether this affects our chances of getting Burke back.

We were in trouble well before that. Chungy is probably the least of our problems right now given the mess we're in.irie Cee Bee wrote: ↑Wed Jan 31, 2018 4:04 pmWell that just turned things upside down for us. We're in trouble.BWFC_Insane wrote: ↑Wed Jan 31, 2018 3:32 pmChungy's not coming.

To be fair I don’t see much point wasting wages on chungy when he will have no-one to pass to!

Just been told no problem and on track.
Fingers crossed, eh?"
