Mgoldrick, I've always seen him play in midfield out wide. Not up front. We tried to sign him before, think it was Dougie.
McGoldrick is a striker, decent, not that it matters.
I mean I love Zach, but what the actual f*ck.

I really don't know what to make of this window.
I feel like this is just an appeasement of the highest order.

you're going to give yourself a coronary lad. We've got rid of a big immobile lump, got 3 nippy tricky forwards and still trousered £6 million. Great window.BWFC_Insane wrote: ↑Wed Jan 31, 2018 10:53 pmFFS. What a pointless, pointless signing that is. It's just sign someone to please the fans.
He has nobody to play off. And we don't have a system to play him in sensibly anyway, other than off the left.
Honestly Bolton fans are going to wank themselves silly over this, but I think it's utterly ridiculous.
Any road, what do you care? You're stopping going you said!

We're asking an awful lot of ALF here, and might be seeing an awful lot more of Wilbraham.
But, silver lining, does this give Connor Hall a chance in the squad?

Madine's a much better player than Clough. It's why he's just gone to a team in the top 6 for several million and Clough has spent the season sat on struggling Forest's bench.Harry Genshaw wrote: ↑Wed Jan 31, 2018 11:00 pmyou're going to give yourself a coronary lad. Beyond that Clough is great if we actually had someone to play up front.
But we don't.
Anyhow, we shall see come end of the season who is right.

We've got rid of our top scorer and Clough hasn't signed yet to be fair. This window has been shite or good, depends how you look at it.Harry Genshaw wrote: ↑Wed Jan 31, 2018 11:00 pmyou're going to give yourself a coronary lad. Clough not confirmed yet, and Iles doesn't know whether it's loan or permanent. It's nice that we might consider permanent signings.TANGODANCER wrote: ↑Wed Jan 31, 2018 11:05 pmSo Clough and Flannagan in the last minute bag. Flannagan tikk season end, Clough?

Pay attention. We're talking about sticking Magennis or Walker up front. Not Wilbraham. You've no idea as to what sort of a tune Parky might get out of them, so why don't you just shut the feck up for a bit?BWFC_Insane wrote: ↑Wed Jan 31, 2018 10:49 pmIf it's that easy to find someone to score 10 goals in half a season we will be fine we can just stick Wilbraham up front and safety will be assured. Who is going to score the goals required? Given nobody in the current squad has got past 3 yetBruce Rioja wrote: ↑Wed Jan 31, 2018 10:46 pmYeah. Scored 15 goals in 60 odd league one appearances for Charlton.
Sounds great.

Heh, Palace have the papers in to sign a striker and are hopeful of concluding it. Oh well...

Hull have signed Harry Wilson on loan from Liverpool. We’ve got a fifth fullback who has a shitload of community service for twatting his bird.

Magennis ain’t coming. And walker isn’t an out and out striker. More a pace man across the front 3. We are a team full of people who don’t really play up front if Clough signs.Bruce Rioja wrote: ↑Wed Jan 31, 2018 11:09 pmPay attention. We're talking about sticking Magennis or Walker up front. I will wait and see but I don’t think any of this is really Parky’s plan or choice.

This time last year Clough had just been sold for several millions while Madine was still shit. It's a funny old game.
Anyway, I agree that (also like last year) this is more about appeasing the fans than Parky, who I'm sure will be delighted that he now has to rely on a striker he clearly doesn't rate.
However, I can't deny that I am slightly appeased, so they're not daft I guess. Clough!

#Karma #HowYouLikeItNowRonnow suddenly looking doubtful as Brøndby needed to secure a replacement and that deal appears to have fallen through. Palace haven’t given up but currently it’s off. However #CPFC remain confident Sorloth will be completed #DeadlineDay
