True enough that Parky is a very no-complain sort (at least where the subject of Ken ever arises).Dave Sutton's barnet wrote: ↑Wed Jan 23, 2019 4:48 pmAll reasonable.Lost Leopard Spot wrote: ↑Wed Jan 23, 2019 4:14 pm...to expand slightly on that... I'm in no doubt Ken is of the opinion he can get a better manager who will save him money by avoiding relegation. I'm equally firm in my opinion he wouldn't fork out the necessary extra to grasp that opportunity.
Part of me, though, thinks Ken knows he's on to a good thing with Parky, who has notably rarely complained about the strictures he's been under. Furthermore, on the flipside, he may well know where the bodies are buried.
And I never thought about the fact he might know where the bodies are buried...
(In which case it might just be worthwhile if Ken and Parky put one training session aside and instead they get the team together at midnight to dig up the bodies they've located between the posts and reinter them under the centre circle. It might just instigate the change of fortune we need. Feng Shui power. )

Oz joins the ALF and Armstrong list as players Parky has under used because they're under 6ft 2. Connor Hall to be added soon.

Connor Hall is actually a big strong lad. He fits the bill.
However he couldn’t get in the Accrington team.

Is he? He might get a chance then. Must admit he looked a slight chap to me at Leeds in the league cup. Mind, my peepers aren't what they wereofficer_dibble wrote: ↑Fri Jan 25, 2019 8:46 pmConnor Hall is actually a big strong lad. He fits the bill.

Wiki has him as 5’11. Perhaps he was stood next to Oztumer!

I suffered badly due to that Harry, till I bought a pair of cheap reading specs at Boots or somewhere. I tried ones that were too week for reading at first, but when I looked down the length of the shop and across the road I was amazed at just how clear everything was. I bought them with the reading specs and I've been to many a match and worn them since. Well worth a go for a fiver or so.Harry Genshaw wrote: ↑Fri Jan 25, 2019 10:40 pm

Cheers TD. I might give that a try. Would save a few bob. I might leave it until summer. My failing eyesight has been a blessing these last few SaturdaysTANGODANCER wrote: ↑Sat Jan 26, 2019 12:46 pmI suffered badly due to that Harry, till I bought a pair of cheap reading specs at Boots or somewhere. He, Mr Parkinson, in an interview I cannot find again because of the overwhelming rage engendered in my brain by it, called him Doidgey. DOIDGEY. FFS!
