Can’t stand the excuses. You have to win all sorts of games. We’ve come up completely short here so far. Back three have completely failed to impose themselves. Midfield all over the show. Front two ineffective.

Can’t see one half decent performance out there apart from maybe MJ and Fossey.

Williams was limping like a lame horse at times, which is really not good.
Luckily we signed a replacement for our only DM in January then..,.oh….

Got to be some half time subs. Bakayoko and Dempsey off for me. Dion and Morley on.
Would you bother? 3-0, the game is likely gone. Why not just let them all fully rest until Saturday? Let Dad Bod, Sadlier, Dempsey have a full 90 mins in their legs.

I’ll say it again
I would hate to have paid for a season ticket at Burton, where the aim seems to be have a shit pitch and be good at long throws (they literally have a player who can’t trap a football but can do a long throw playing).

I think we’ve been shit, started the game asleep and not been up for dragging ourselves back into it. And yes you have to do that to be a good team, and maybe we’re not there yet.

But my point is, I would fecking hate to watch Burton Albion every week!

It’s not in Evatts DNA to give it up. Thankfully!

I said to my mate before kick off that Evatt should've had them training on Barlow Park ahead of this. He thought I was joking :conf:

Our midfield is still problematic. Especially with Dempsey looking so utterly woeful.

We lack a midfield for a game like this. Need two Williams against a team like this.

That was a jolly good song,
Sing us another one, just like the other one,
Sing us another one do.

Get out there lads, jump all over Bolton, foul, oh, and they're soft, win nothing in the air (and not much on the floor either).. meanwhile, in Hoofball Wanderers dressing room, a deathly silence hangs like a mass of tripe from the rafters. Get Charles and Dapo on and forget hoofball, it ain't working.

Oh, er...Come on you Whites... :oyea:
Si Deus pro nobis, quis contra nos?

Williams has been getting absolutely murdered.

Whatever the midfield solution would be it wouldn't be two of his performance in that first half.

I feared for this game with the weather. Same as Fleetwood, Plymouth.. We look clueless at how to play in these conditions other than to punt it to Bodvarsson and hope.

Bodvarsson, Dempsey, Sadlier and Aimson given a chance here to stake a claim in the first 11... Just awful.

Evatt has sent em back out early.

That'll do it.

Almost 60% possession so far. Feel like we've been our own worst enemy as our passing hasn't been up to much. Seems sloppy.

Small pitches and crap surfaces seem to be the bane of our existence at the moment.

Maybe it's time to change the formation and have only one up front. Can't say that the two tall lads have been good enough to hold the ball up for everyone else.

Be nice if Dempsey did something. Anything. Or even bothered to turn up. MJ had to do it all him self.
