Aye. Shorerire finished but he was about 10 yards offside...TANGODANCER wrote: ↑Mon Apr 10, 2023 3:51 pmGoing to have to use Kachunga up front and maybe Charles. In retrospcet, maybe both should have started. Disallowed goal to end the half...apparently...

Never one to be understated, you might actually be right today.BWFC_Insane wrote: ↑Mon Apr 10, 2023 3:58 pmNot sure there is a score low enough for that performance. Absolutely unremittingly dire. A massive come down after Wembley.
Slow. Predictable. And frankly I’m not sure we are even that. Nobody seems to know what they are meant to be doing let alone what anyone else is meant to be doing.
Shoretire was absolutely woeful. I’m not sure I’ve seen a more inept midfield performance than that. Lad needs to learn he’s nowhere near this level yet and start actually playing rather than thinking he’s maradonna.
All over the park we’ve been utterly shocking. Our worst half of the season.
With the others winning we will have to step it up but can’t see it unless we introduce the cavalry off the bench.

This is how I see it going. Sounds bad but not losing, loads of better options on the bench. I'm optimistic. Also, I'm going to say at least one of Derby and Wycombe concede an equaliser.BWFC_Insane wrote: ↑Mon Apr 10, 2023 3:58 pmNot sure there is a score low enough for that performance. What's the atmosphere like? Were there really boos at halftime?

A yard further back from Shoretire or a square ball by John and we'd be a goal ahead. Sure we've been disjointed, but we've had worse halves this season.

High boot catches Bradley in the face - potential that would be given as a pen with VAR.

Abysmal ball from Thomason - he’s been very poor so far today.

Mbete really doesn’t look like a Man City player, does he?

Not seen him yet but my Huddersfield mate said he was appalling. Sounds like he can do a job for us but wasn't one for a championship relegation scrap. He was a bit of a panic signing really, but did his bit on Friday so fair dues.

Good, we've got subs coming on.
Hopefully a wakeup moment. The lack of pace from Jerome certainly wouldn't have helped, but you'd've suspected Adeboyejo would've been able to fill that role.

Really hasn't settled in it seems, but looks to be more of a long-term signing.

Yeah, he seems a good player. Certainly impressed at his last club. Bit different going from the focal point in ones attack to trying to have to link up with another player.
Lovely play from George Johnston there, ball out wide then a shot with a nice finish from John directly after.

At last 1-0. Now get another or defend well.
