Not exactly a Derby. Away to The Rams, Sat 16th March 3-0'clock.

Calmness personified by Thomason on the edge of the box there.

Had this game down as a mustn't lose. 0-0 so far. Feels like we're doing as good as our counterparts, but not better. Given we've already beaten them once this season an all, a 0-0 would see us 4 points to their 1.

We're playing catchup, so three points is desired.

We are shaky. That half you can file in the ‘games that Sheehan is rendered ineffective in’ I’m hoping he will grow in influence.

Our two wing backs have been very poor.

Derby are a very simple and basic side. Kick it and keep it in their final third and hope something drops. Typical Warne. I don’t think we’ve dealt with it that well.

Bar a couple of spells where we picked up some second balls we’ve been a bit too long and to little effect.

Thomason has been excellent thus far and shows the sort of energy needed in these games, Maghoma came into it more.

Collins thus far has been disappointing, bod done well, but please man, win some headers….

Frustrating after a positive start. Wingbacks have got to deliver better balls in - we’ve had 4 or 5 attacks wasted with piss poor balls. Randell will be on soon I imagine. Could go either way this game - if they score it will undoubtedly be from a cheap set piece.

Some serious nerves all around today. That spell of 10 minutes they couldn't get near us, sadly it was disrupted by Gayle getting injured and going off.

Come on Bolton! Let's get at em.

Interesting handball not given there, arguably ref hasn't seen it. Would've been nice for him or the linesman to have spotted it given our handball was given from JDB.
We're 3 nil on handballs.
Hadn't seen any others, were they just as agregious?
Almost accidental on all but you know these referees.
Can't really read too much into it. I expect refs to give more decisions to the home team, just not deliberately.

HT. Not a terrible half. Some promise in spells. As noted, wingbacks haven't capitalised on good positions. But when we pass the thing Derby look as scared of us as I am of their set-piece prowess.

Feels like we're lacking the success from our wingbacks. Decent delivery from either Ogbeta or JDC would've seen us have more of a go of it.

Fairly even half I would say, Cogley has got into some good positions and wasted the opportunities. Jones has me concerned he seems off the pace , whilst Derby have been competent I haven't seen anything to scare my pants off.
People haven't got a good word for you, but i have T**T.

Certainly on top that half, without being stellar. Few too many passes astray (including Mr Sheehan).. They'll be happier with nil than us methinks. Might need a bit mire edge of the box trigger. Pointless punting the ball at Bod's head as he runs under the ball, jumps and wonders why it's 5 foot over his yed.

Yeah forgot to add this. Jones is worrying me too.

Anyone else getting the impression that this game is playing out exactly as they predicted?

Absolutely nothing in it and the nerves persist.

Good first half. We looked a threat in the first 25 mins, then Derby controlled after Gayle came off and they slowed the game down. Last 5 mins we got back into our rhythm. A clean sheet is necessary so no mistakes at the back. With our quality going forward, hope we can nick one.

10 for 17
4 for 16
2 for 23.

He's had woefully little of the ball in the first half. Anything we can do to get him more on the ball should be a good thing.
