Aye. It ace if we win, shite if we don’t. I Don’t look back on the Watford one with much positivity!
Yeah 2 hours in a train carriage full of Stoke fans has a similar effect on me...

Watford scarred me for life. That group of players was full of ability but we couldn’t defend well enough and we also had a habit of inexplicably not turning up. Both happened at Wembley against what was just a functional Watford side.

It was the more I think about it quite scandalous when you go though the teams that we were so inept.

Stoke was bad. But in hindsight we were poor and getting poorer. And cups are just less consequential. A play off final defines the season you’ve just had as well as the one you’ve got coming up next.

I was absolutely gutted for the whole summer. Worse was the season after Barry Knight happened.

Left on 70 minutes, hit the M1. Never to be spoken of again, apart from every time we reach Wembley and go ‘it won’t be that bad again!’

Burnley are down. Another big reason I want to go up. One of my favourite fixtures.
Welcome back! Was wondering where you'd been!!

Cheers. Been a tad busy with work. I find it easier to step back from online stuff as most of my work is on computer and it's too easy to lose an hour or two chatting away. Twitter isn't too bad, but anything long-form is a killer.

The nonsense about ticket sales is already doing my nut in. Oxford will sell out because it’s a city with a load of people who like Plymouth will come along for a day trip. You have a large area to draw from.

And it’s about an hour to get there using public transport. And costs a fraction of what it does from Bolton.

We will not sell out because we don’t have the luxury of a large uncontested area of support and the few thousand day trippers we might get went last year and that’s probably their fix for a while.

It is the same when we played Reading and Plymouth. Outnumbered but most of the people in their ends aren’t what you’d call ‘fans’.

Just the yoof ballooning about how many we have sold vs Oxford. I mean we all knew we’d not be selling this out and Oxford probably would. They have lower attendances sure. But a big catchment area for a day out and it’s far easier and cheaper for them.

They might have larger numbers on the day, but they'll all be day trippers, asking folk to sit down and be quiet so they can watch the show.

The quality of our support will be better, as long as we don't go behind! :-)

Yeah exactly. Our support was as good as any supporters ever have been last week and we went behind but the support got them through.

Be no different at Wembley. Nobody at the club can complain about our supporters this season at all. They’ve been brilliant.

I'm currently debating whether to buy tickets now or hold off in the hope we open up another block and I can get seats closer to the front.

Does anyone have an opinion on the likelihood of us getting another block now?

Sounds like additional blocks are very unlikely, but if it's just you you might want to hang on for returns. Personally I'd buy tickets now and if you want to switch later the ticket office will sort you out. I spoke to them earlier today and they said I could cancel tickets and rebook them immediately if needed. Would be fully refunded for the original tickets.

It’s me and a few mates, but if I can swap then I’ll book some now. Cheers, Ghost.

You can't directly swap, but the club said they'd definitely fully refund any tickets if I wanted to move some of my party to other seats.

So you'd need to cancel the first set of seats and rebook the new block.

Really not too fussed TBH...I mean we commanded the support on Tuesday who were noisy and supportive - still got beat! :-)

I mean we've sold 26? So only have another 10k...

Gone through 28,000 now.

Lots of people still trying to figure out the logistics of getting there before they buy tickets, so it's hard to imagine we don't now crack 30,000 and keep going.

Whether you care about ticket sales or not, that's great for the club's stature and financial health.
