HERO.
This.

Even if he doesn't get on the pitch, he's still a hero to me.

With only an hour till the match, I'm giddy like school child on Christmas morning over the prospect of Kev taking to the field for England.

COME ON DAVO!!!!!!
Pfffft.

Going to be watching this with my dad (more my Wanderers watching modus operandi). Normally the pair of us couldn't give a toss about England, and Id be down the pub with mates, or working. I feel both expectant and nervous. Strange.

Has anyone got any squad news, because ITV is sh*t.

Not even mentioned Davo during the build up, suppose they feel if they don't talk about it, he's not there?

Well they both made the bench. Fingers crossed for two second half substitutions.

Meanwhile we've got the ear-shreddingly awful choice of Alan Green or Peter Drury.

Sure I just saw SKD, Cahill and Wilshere warming up together on the touchline. Wouldn't that be every Bolton fans best dream ever?

And no choice but to listen to this effing brass band. I hate how they're the soundtrack for England games, not the chanting or singing you hear in English club football, but some crappy Brazillian/Dutch football rip off instead. I know they've been at it for years but I wish they'd just do one.

Match aint the best either is it? Anyone else thinking what I was thinking when Crouch spooned that header over the bar?

You can say that again! (Probably about 20 mins into the second half.)

Form the Beeb

2048: Wayne Rooney has been pretty quiet for England so far... how wonder how long it will be before the crowd start calling for Kevin Davies to be brought on? Would they really do that, though?

Yes, it was and then Gaz and Davo stopped to have a 'chat' just before the half way line

And:

BBC Sport's Phil McNulty at Wembley: "Tedious and Wembley shows its disapproval. England dominating possession but no cutting edge and too many aimless long balls in the direction of Peter Crouch. Wayne Rooney very quiet. Kevin Davies anyone?"

Rooney has been shi'ite for the last couple of games now so I'd rather have Kev on the pitch

Can't agree. Rooney was absolutely superb against Bulgaria and Switzerland. He's been as shite as the rest tonight though
