Only one yellow for Steinsson? That's very optimistic!boltonboris wrote:General Mannerheim wrote:Spurs win 2-1 (HT 1-0) Van der Vart & Pavlyuchenko, with Cahill heading in our consolation. Yellow cards for Davies, Steinsson, Muamba, Robinson and Gallas for them. Att; 18,541. Cloudy with occasional showers, and a light north easterly wind, 10°C.
I've got van der Vaart in my Fantasy team, and Bale.........

Spurs will probably win, but in the process will look nowhere near as good as we're told they are.
There'll be lots of long balls played in the general direction of Crouch, which will be called long passes, and Steinsson will mostly keep the "form player of The Champions League" quiet, but then everyone will get worked up when the current mediawankfestdarling beats him a couple of times.

You can judge the whole world on the sparkle that you think it lacks.
Yes, you can stare into the abyss, but it's staring right back.

in an attempt to provide some balance.
Bale 2 goals and 0 assists in the league would point to him being less devastating in the league.
They've played a hugely energetic game in midweek and we haven't...
Never won at the Reebok in the league as far as I'm aware.
They even got beat by West Ham.

I was going to say you really have put the mockers on it, but what's the point? We seldom win when the other team has been in action more recently and your other comment is well, let's face it, another statistic to be obliterated by the cruel gods of football.Athers wrote:

indeed - I got that in on page one - though I was experimenting with "we'll get utterly dicked"General Mannerheim wrote:this is page 2 btw.bedwetter2 wrote:I thought you would come out with one of your all too accurate predictions about us being doomeeeeed!thebish wrote:yeah - well done bedwetter - I hope you're proud of yourself!bedwetter2 wrote:I was going to say you really have put the mockers on it, but what's the point? Seriously? You wouldn't? Because he's no better than what we've got? We don't need a proven Prem goalscorer? He wouldn't add to our creativity in midfield or give us another option up front?East Lower wrote:Robbie Keane? Seriously?
