I've just had a look at Fulham's website. Kids for a quid, by the look of things. Might go, and take the Kebablette for her first large scale footy match. She has been to one already - a South Midlands League game between Colney Heath and Haringey Borough - but I might let her see what it's like to see football in an even smaller crowd....

I'm pretty sure fulham will sell out at those prices, and we will take a 1000 maybe - will be good!KeeeeeeeBaaaaaaab wrote:I've just had a look at Fulham's website. 2,000 tonight they said on the commentary, 3 wiggin pitch invaders leaves about 2,007 fans in the ground at the end....
Cracking result anyway and some food for thought for Owen...and don't be writing Klasnic off yet!
Bastard news about Ricketts....hopefully Steinsson isn't too busy sending PMs to be in the side this weekend if needed, though his absence from even the bench tonight is worrying.

Nowt about tickets on th'official site... Anyone know?
Slow down...
I know there isn't going to be a problem.... Caught up in memories of when getting a ticket for the FA Cup really meant something... Like... the whole world and your happiness in it forever... And your 13 year old daughter and her mates queued all night at Burnden Park... (They really did)

I know some clubs are smaller than othrs, I know money's tight, I know the FA Cup has lost some of it's thrill, I know the clubs have drawn 3 times already, but .......
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

Two wins off a trip to wembley! But would take a replay against fulham and stuff them at our place.
Yet to concede when Wheater has been on the pitch, I make that over 4 hours of football. Going to make the trip down on Sunday for our biggest game of the season!
COYWM!!!!

We had around 3,000 in the end as we'd sold 1,600 tickets by Tuesday aft and there were big queues outside for the pay turnstiles from 7.20pm onwards. Unbelievably poor home support though and for a crowd of 7,500 means thay had around 4,500 there, you'd get more home fans at most league 2 gamesofficer_dibble wrote:2,000 tonight they said on the commentary, 3 wiggin pitch invaders leaves about 2,007 fans in the ground at the end....

Sam Ricketts has injured his Achilles apparently, could be out for a while.

Anyone know if there'll be tickets available on the door at Fulham?
The players you fail to sign never lose you any money.

For injured, read 'suspect ruptured'jmjhb wrote:Sam Ricketts has injured his Achilles apparently, could be out for a while.

Fingers crossed in defence then - since he was first choice full back and first cover for everything...jmjhb wrote:Sam Ricketts has injured his Achilles apparently, could be out for a while.
Re: FA Cup fourth round replay: Wigan v Bolton
this was a weird game.
We deserved the win, clearly. Their defending was comic, midfield kamikaze and their attack impotent.
However we need to learn to finish our chances. Klasnic should have had two, Muamba one and if Petrov could stay onside for once Elmander should have had one.
Can't be too pessimistic though. Wheater was excellent at the back and Bogdan only had one save to make IIRC. CYL was boss as usual, and Mavies was good forward and back. Hope Ricketts is ok.
Oh, and one final word. Wigan fans...LOL. This is the first time I've been to a game where I actually thought the away fans outnumbered the home fans. And having not see the attendance figures yet it could quite possibly be true.

Who will play right back on Saturday?
And who will go on the bench as defensive cover?

The crowd was 7,500 and I'll even revise my own earlier estimations after chatting to a couple of pals and say the split was 50:50Verbal wrote: Oh, and one final word. Wigan fans...LOL.
