FACup Quarter Final

Re: FACup Quarter Final
Yeah, I think if I went on a Birmingham board and saw they were sorting out their tickets for Wembley (other than for Saturday, obviously) I'd think they were tossers. Can you imagine what we'd be like if we'd drawn them at home?
But, seen as we're here...... why should people who turn up to see us play Birmingham get priority over the 8,000 who paid post-Christmas to see us get outplayed by York City?
Really, it's a minefield. I guess they'll just err on the side of caution and do it 1 per ST first.

Eh, we're not the ones scrapping and with another Cup comp to boot - we've much more leeway for counting chickens.

Win or lose. Replays just put more pressure on fixture congestion, risk of injury etc.enrdentw wrote:Who would take a replay right now?

Can't believe you would rather lose than have another shot at them at home with a Semi final the reward. We only have 3 games in March including the 6th round match so I am not sure congestion is an issue. Injuries maybe, but we hopefully will have a couple back by then.TANGODANCER wrote:Win or lose. I'd rather just win, and desperately so, but so surely would most Bolton supporters? Obviously better a draw than a loss, but winning is what we aim to do.Wandering Willy wrote:Can't believe you would rather lose than have another shot at them at home with a Semi final the reward. Of course. I read your original post to mean that you would prefer the game to be settled at the first attempt (either way) rather than have a replay because of fixture congestion etc.I'd rather just win, and desperately so, but so surely would most Bolton supporters? We'll win any way so it's academic.

I noticed something with our online ticket system. From all the games I've picked up 40 loyalty points for the games against West Ham, Southampton, Liverpool and now Fulham. My Arsenal / Chelsea / Wigan (home) purchases are not on system though.
What surprises me is no loyalty points for Sunderland game.

'Twas the interpretation anyone would make, Willy. Fortunately the ancient mariner has returned to his senses! Only a loss is unacceptable.Wandering Willy wrote:Of course. Does that mean it'll be on TV?
Can't be arsed going to the early rounds, I'll just wait for the glory games and then go to them
