Re: Boltons next top striker?
That young lad at chelsea is highly rated, mcecheran or some such name, a midfielder.
Re: Boltons next top striker?
Rodallega is wank. N'Zogbia is awesome. Anyone who would take the former ove rth elatter wants their bumps feeling. Especially given our need for a leftie!

Adebayor will go to Real Madrid in the summer, as "Mourinho's buy" (with the owner getting his own toy too, of course). But City will also buy strikers and Caicedo will be available. It might work. Sturridge couldn't get in their team (or Chelsea's) either. These are the risks that have to be taken with squad outsiders.
OJJ: Josh McEachran, very good England U21 prospect. May already be a touch too good for Chelsea to let him go on a season-longer – but while we're on the subject of young English defensive midfielders at Chelsea, perhaps they'd be looking for somewhere to house Michael Mancienne (who can also play at centre-back, adding depth). Thing is, any Chelsea decisions would have to wait until the new manager's in place...

You're missing one key thing with Mancienne....
.... He's shite
.... He's shite

I would, because we've two left wingers (one who'll be especially hard to shift) and no strikers. He's not worth what Wigan will want for him, but he's clearly not wank. I'm sure he's been much better value for money (playing in a shocking team) than the likes of Doyle, Elmander, Jones, Fletcher, Tuncay, McFadden, Zigic, Kalinic ect. who all cost significantly more.Prufrock wrote:Rodallega is wank. Given his age, he would take up one the 25 squad places and it may depend on how many big money signings they make in the summer.the-Bowtun-Warrior wrote:wouldn't be suprised if it happened.Trickyvegas wrote:Why not Sturridge on another season's loan?
but then i see Chelsea listening to the hype and grabbing him back...
plus, he makes it clear he wants to go back. every chelsea second chelsea word chelsea in chelsea an chelsea interview chelsea is chelsea
In the meantime, OC should be sending Wilshere and Sturridge footage to every top club in Europe.

Prufrock, Rodallega isn't wank - he is playing in a side that is wank. However, I would much rather have N'Zogbia but I hear off a reliable Wigan source that he is off to Marseille.
Tom, if Wolves drop then I would love Doyle, a good replacement for Big Kev IMO, can hold up the ball well, good work rate, can finish and finds space. Doubt we have the 7-10mil they will want and well probably end up at Villa or S'land.

Re: Boltons next top striker?
How many has Doyle got this season?
And is his last league goal any more recent than November or whenever the hell Davies last scored?
We either find a midfielder who can knock in 10 a season or a proper goalscorer. And I don't think there is room for a midfielder who doesn't work his arse off to track back, at the expense of goalscoring positions, in this system.

oc should really have a good look at lacina traore

he wants a young striker, and traore is six foot eight so could be very effective on crosses and corners

Rodallega is wank. He's a bit foreign though so it's all good. Discounting Ali, N'Zogbia is about twenty times better than anyone else they have. Makes me laugh how he knows it though, and gets so frustrated. Earlier this season he beat two or three players on a surging counter attacking run before squaring a cross for Rodallega to knock in, who proceeded to smash it straight back at him. Charles looked annoyed. Tehe.

Rodallega is inconsistent but not "wank". 8 league goals this season 10 last time...in a poor side, often up front on his own?Prufrock wrote:Rodallega is wank. That is not too bad at all.

I remember reading this but I don't know if it was posted here: http://www.goal.com/en-gb/news/2896/pre ... -star-park" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NMGt-i2-7ow" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
It's a bit overly dramatic, but it shows the kind of game he has.
Currently 10th on the goal scorers table for Ligue 1, after some injuries earlier in the season and playing on an abysmal Monaco squad that is probably headed for relegation.
He's another FC Seoul product (played with LCY for several years before moving to Monaco) He likes to play on the shoulder of the last defender and has bags of pace/acceleration once the through ball is played. He's also known for his leaping/heading ability and is the direct FK taker for the Korean team.
