Re: Official League Released List
Cruise and Randall were supposed to be two of Arsenals more promising youngsters were they not? Possibly Coyle type players.
John Spector looked a good player when moved in to midfield still only 25 maybe a more financially viable option than Reo-Coker.

Take Kevin Phillips on a short term loan- say about a week- and bury the fecker under 50 feet of concrete so he can never ever score against us again

Re: Official League Released List
Reo Coker is one of the real stand outs on that list. But (allegedly) he wants squillions.
Of the others that interest, you'd be looking at inserting all sorts of clauses based on appearances or input. I can't see us realistically taking any of them. But in an ideal world it'd be Woodgate and Hargreaves.

You can judge the whole world on the sparkle that you think it lacks.

Randall is 22, I believe, and is average in League 2.Nobbys Belly wrote:Cruise and Randall were supposed to be two of Arsenals more promising youngsters were they not? Possibly Coyle type players.

Cruise is 20 and couldn't get a game for Carlisle. Definitely no better than Connolly.

Re: Official League Released List
It's like this
Kamara has had injury probs, and is an inconsistent scorer. But he's the type of striker we've not had for ages, quick, runs the channels, and not frightened to shoot.
Gera, should have come when he went to Fulham. Never held a place down there and a good versatile option.
Reo Coker is a bit of an enigma. Was borderlnie England contention at one point. Now borderline League 1 contention. But good opportunity to play his way into a team with a weak centre midfield
Barnes, again struggled with injury but if fulfils potential is a very capable midfielder. Remember him running the game against us for Derby.

I think I epically failed with the joke there.
Anyhoo, am I right in saying that Barnes bossed a midfield that was selected by Megson?

Re: Official League Released List
Spector - great bench player covers the back half of the field
Coker - can spell Holden and is improvement over Muamba
Gera - can midfield or right wing
Carew - was a great striker for years, can be again
If we get these four we only need another CB for Cahill or keep him and a fast striker.
STAYS
GK: Jussi, Bogdan
RB: Steinsson, SPECTOR
LB: Robinson, Gardner, Alonso???
CB: Knight, Ricketts,
CB: Wheater
DM:COKER, Muamba, Sean Davis,
CM: Holden, M. Davies, Vela
RW: Lee, GERA
LW: Petrov, Taylor,
ST: SKD, CAREW, Eaves,
ST: Klasnic, Ward,Blake,

Would love Seb Larsson or James McFadden. Two very good wingers/strikers.
They would be decent back up. Agree about Spector and Reo-coker to.
