Re: TKIZ's impossibly brilliant all new Transfer Rumours thr
QPR have bid accepted for DJ Campbell. Just sayin', like.
Re: TKIZ's impossibly brilliant all new Transfer Rumours thr
Campbell would have been a fair shout at the money - not the best but is a definite threat. Surely Coyle has something up his sleeve? I think (hope!) Sturridge could still come back if Chelsea decide they want him long term, but think another year on loan will improve him further. Thought Coyle might be interested in Goodwillie, but it seems like Rantic, Blackpool and Wigan are the clubs most interested. His present coach thinks he should avoid Rantic (sensible man!) and come to England, but isn't convinced he's ready for the Prem week in, week out.
Looking ahead to next year, SKD will be 35 and Klas out of contract. It isn't looking good long-term in the striking department.

Re: Campbell - For someone so desired by fans there doesnt seem to be many clubs willing to part with a million quid for him when all's said and done - so most managers seem to be in agreement that he aint quite worth the punt.

I'm a city fan and i come in peace
I'm hearing from our end about you being linked with a lot of our players including Boyata (loan), SWP, Onuoha and Bellamy. Was just wondering if you've heard anything this end?

A fair point, if somewhat odd considering he bagged a dozen in a bad team – and not by tit-lining, he didn't shirk a shiftohjimmyjimmy wrote:Re: Campbell - For someone so desired by fans there doesnt seem to be many clubs willing to part with a million quid for him when all's said and done - so most managers seem to be in agreement that he aint quite worth the punt.

You lot pay them too much so we couldn't afford them even if we wanted to.sleeping_easy wrote:I'm a city fan and i come in peace

P.S. I work with a lifelong City fan and we've done this topic to death

Sleeping_easy - it's a month or so ago that those rumours flew. Gone quiet since you signed another centre-back.
Some resurfacing of the Onuoha rumour this week - I understand he didn't go on City's tour - but I doubt we can afford him unless and until we sell Cahill.

Yea the rumours on onuoha and Bellamy have resurfaced this week from what i'm hearing and my brother and dad are both bolton fans so and i asked them and they said they'd heard the rumours to so thought i'd ask on here. I can see onuoha going to you if you sell Cahill but from what i can see your in bad need of strikers.Dave Sutton's barnet wrote:Sleeping_easy - it's a month or so ago that those rumours flew. Putting it all into perspective signing NRC on a free when he cost 8M odd a few years back could be the best deal anywhere in the Premier League this summer. Proper experienced player who was captain at Villa for a while and is still just 27. By all accounts a talker and leader which is something we missed in recent times.
