There was a picture in a Sunday paper of their second goal. Knight was stood directly in front of the player heading it....with both feet flat on the floor. Being seven feet thirteen he maybe didn't think it worth the bother of jumping.

I guess Coyle would leave Hernandez and Rooney up, if we had Jones and Vidic at the back....

Aye and the threat to say Robinson and NRC of Rooney and Hernandez being left up is somewhat greater than leaving Petrov and Mark Davies up would be to say Smalling and Evra!

I believe his official job title is Robinson's Blame Hound, isn't it?

We were utterly inept at defending corners today, every single Chelsea corner could have ended in a goal

Defenders on posts please... we are vulnerable at corners, goalies cannot get headers into corner... just do it as routine... science not rocket it's...

We aren't doing much from corners at the other end either. Petrov hardly ever finds a Bolton head in the box, we are missing Taylor, Lee or Holden taking the corners.
Depression is just a state of mind, supporting Bolton is also a state of mind hence supporting Bolton must be depressing QED

Steve Davis does the corners doesn't he? Needs to be held accountable for this, although why we conceded 11 corners at home is another question. Either way this cannot go on.

Today, the first goal came from a corner after we had poorly defended 5 or 6 with 11 men in the box. The ball comes in, gets headed out and immediately, we're back under the cosh from the second ball. It's not rocket science.if we leave 2 out, they have to leave 3, ergo less pressure!!

I think Steve Davis is the defensive coach.

There is a hell of a lot he needs to be held accountable for, but corners is #1.

You don't 'aim' for a head.. You put the ball in an area for the players to attack.

But, he ain't even doing that..

That all depends on whether it's Sunday and some little gobshite is stood about 4 yards away from the corner thinking he's being really clever.
