if anything it might give the other lads a kick up arse to perform for Stu, they know he'd give anything for the chance to play.

Stu's luck would be reeeeally bad if after a year out, he makes his comeback in the Championship!

Why don't you tweet him a good luck message.. It'll really help!

That's assuming we have any of our old spirit left in the squad. Not seen much evidence of that yet this season, or in fact since the aftermath of Wembley and beating Arsenal!

Had a surge of optimism last night that, ok after getting dicked by chelsea, we'll get into a decent run, stupot will be back and our new attacking formation will be wreaking havoc.

Now i've just accepted we've done something to upset some unknown force and that we're proper fooked. Being the sadist that i am, i'll still keep going to the games anyway, cos getting beat at home by Sunderland and the like with 0 shots on goal still beats shopping with the missus.

I still think he will win player of the year at this rate.

when do Savis and Ricketts return??

edit: just checked...

M Alonso Metatarsal Fracture 15th Oct 11
T Mears Broken Leg Mar 12
C Lee Broken Leg May 12
S Holden Knee Injury Mar 12
S Davis Knee Injury no return date
S Ricketts Calf/Shin Injury no return date

Arsenal whine about their injuries - but ManU top the injury table:

D Gibson Ankle/Foot Injury no return date
J Evans Ankle/Foot Injury 1st Oct 11
J Hernandez Dead Leg 1st Oct 11
W Rooney Hamstring Injury 23rd Oct 11
C Smalling Groin Strain 1st Oct 11
T Cleverley Ankle/Foot Injury 15th Oct 11
Rafael Shoulder Injury 11th Nov 11
N Vidic Calf Muscle Strain no return date
T Bebe ACL Knee Injury Feb 12

several of Arsenal's are longer-term though...

Man Citeh have no injuries at all... which is kind of unfair!

They do have Tevez though, so kind of balances out!

Some of those ManUtd "injuries" were a bit rubbish. If you're going to list them as injuries you'd have to list G Cahill's "illness" too.
The players you fail to sign never lose you any money.
