Re: klasnic
Well, true, but look at his full history. Played there about 4 times & shipped back. Warsaw, knowing they had a dud, immediately shipped him out again & he played about half a dozen times for a Serie B side.boltonboris wrote:Augustyn was another one.. Left us to go for first team footy at Legia, then moved to a Serie A side!
Plus 2 knee injuries.
Not quite the next Jarolslav Fojut !!

Re: klasnic
I remember pitching that Jaroslaw Fojut could be our shit version of Tony Adams after watching him domiante one of the top teams in a reserve game and marshall our defence really well.
Then again, I also boldly claimed that Ricardo Vaz Te could be our shit Theirry Henry after that goalscoring pre-season...

Currently not getting selected to play by the team at the top of the Polish top division.jimbo_bwfc wrote:I remember pitching that Jaroslaw Fojut could be our shit version of Tony Adams after watching him domiante one of the top teams in a reserve game and marshall our defence really well.

I'm unsure whether that's good or not.
On a more serious note, I do think both these lost patience waiting for games & decided to go home & try it out there.

Vaz Te is now 'tearing it up' at Barnsley, I believe.

Wasn't he actually a striker, or did I imagine that?Little Green Man wrote:Right-back James Sinclair looked pretty good on his debut, as far as I recall. He's now playing for an obscure Polish club having been released by Gateshead.
Short lad?

Re: klasnic
Started as a striker, moved to right back. One Pro Evo memorably decided to make him black. He isn't.

Pretty sure it was Sinclair.

Re: klasnic
It was Sinclair. Sissons only ever got the one appearance, which was against Watford in the cup. Sinclair on the other hand played a handful at fullback.

My favourite youth player cameo appearance in Europe was Wolfe. Wonder what happened to him.

I remember Mario Espartero coming on away at Fulham in our ritual 3-0 gubbing in 2002. He was fecking shite.
Think it was his debut - may even have been his one and only

It was, how about Blessing Kaku? Did he actually get any game time with us at all?

All about the double substitution of Gianakopoulos and Ba coming on. Quizzable.

Think it was Julio Cesar who scored that goal against Yeovil. Only memory of Blessing Kaku was him giving the ball away for a goal in the carling cup against Spurs. God only knows how i can remember these things!jmjhb wrote:Scored in the Carling Cup against Yeovil iircTKIZ! wrote:It was, how about Blessing Kaku? Did he actually get any game time with us at all?
