I recall you were devastated when you thought we had sold out and could't get a ticket. And now you can't be arsed going.
True fans follow their team through good times and bad.
Yes I agree OC appears tactically inept but BWFC will always be BWFC.

Re: Day of Destiny/Doomsday: Stoke away
I always fancied us to get more from Stoke than the last match we played.
1) We've won more away from home than at the Reebok.
2) West Brom have a good away record and are a better team than Stoke, with more strings to their bow.
3) Psychologically our players have looked scared and nervous at home, pretty much as they did under Megson. We look more 'up for it' on the road and play with fewer shackles.
4) Stoke's main man is Crouch ffs.
5) It's win or bust so the players should be in their faces from minute 1.
On the other hand of course, Stoke have only lost 4 at home all season.

I've just realised Upson will be playing.

The plot thickens.
FWIW I don't see them playing us off the field. We'll have a chance at least.

Re: Day of Destiny/Doomsday: Stoke away
by all accounts today - he had a great game... it'd be tempting to whack KD on for a bit, however knackered he is - Upson always cacks himself when KD appears...Athers wrote:I've just realised Upson will be playing.

Even if we'd've won 6-0 today, we would've still needed a result at Stoke, so I've no idea why there's so much negativity on this thread....

Re: Day of Destiny/Doomsday: Stoke away
I think the reason for this is that if we play at Stoke in the same way that we played today, we'll lose 6-0.sidewaysmove wrote:Even if we'd've won 6-0 today, we would've still needed a result at Stoke, so I've no idea why there's so much negativity on this thread....

I would've been gutted if QPR drew however, does'nt really change much going into the last game. We are a complete shambles, but all we need is a win at Stoke, something we are more than capable of despite our shit 'team'
Re: Day of Destiny/Doomsday: Stoke away
you not the best at maths? or even the idea of momentum?sidewaysmove wrote:Even if we'd've won 6-0 today, we would've still needed a result at Stoke, so I've no idea why there's so much negativity on this thread....
hope wheater is fit really. best player we have to combat them aerially. any idea how bad his injury was?
i think we have a chance because
a) we are away. where we have generally played better.
b) we suffer against pace. stoke have very little of this.
c) erm....we really really need to win?
tbh i'm programming myself to look forward to championship football next season and quite frankly i'm excited by it
Re: Day of Destiny/Doomsday: Stoke away
just changes the fact that a draw would probably have been good enough and now we have to win :/spikeykev wrote:Thissidewaysmove wrote:Even if we'd've won 6-0 today, we would've still needed a result at Stoke, so I've no idea why there's so much negativity on this thread....

Re: Day of Destiny/Doomsday: Stoke away
I have stuck by the lads and coyle all season sure that we would produce the results required and have the fight to stay up, seeing us play so badly for the last 15 mins today was just agonising and putting cyl on was a terrible decision if anything it should have been miyayachi not cyl as cyl just couldent have been ready for that match,
were really up against it now and stoke away is possibly one of the worst fixtures we could have hoped for for a relegation battle on the final day dont get me wrong its possible we may still survive but i wont be betting on it and doubt ill even watch the match im not sure i can cope with the pain of watching stoke tear us apart for us to be then relegated would be the worst thing i can imagine.
love bwfc wherever we are just hate to see us throw our pl and possibly clubs status away with toothless performances earlier this season with the manager and players calmy stating we would allways have a chance to pull it back, well if theres a time for the best performance of thier careers its probably away at stoke but having seen this seasons team i doubt we would do enough to draw away at stoke.

I admire your positivity, but having witnessed today's performance, I'm somewhat reluctant to agree with you.spikeykev wrote:Thissidewaysmove wrote:Even if we'd've won 6-0 today, we would've still needed a result at Stoke, so I've no idea why there's so much negativity on this thread....

Aye, don't drop out of this. If we do it, you'd complain that you missed it.Barr Hill wrote:BBR wrote:Got a ticket for sale face value if anyone wants it? PM me

No, got 2 tickets and my mate has decided not to go after todays shambles. I will still be there to see the last ever Premier League game for BWFC. Fun while it lasted.
Quality fan!

Who's driving next week then?
Any advice? Never been. Wondering if it's wise as a Bwfc to drive?
Club travel at £13 sounds value for money but it's the LAST place I want to be for 2 hours on the way home if we get relegated.
