Loan makes most sense. By January he'll have been a success or back down the East Lancs.Dave Sutton's barnet wrote:DSB understands it's a loan until January. At which point Liverpool will demand 1437% APR.

Re: Spearing £3Mil
I think Spearing is probably hoping that Rodgers will have gone by Jan and he'll be back in the side. Personally I think it's a good signing for us in terms of he can tackle and add that body in front of the back four
Pfffft.

Has this been confirmed yet? I've got about three waiting for the lookalike thread.

Nixon still says it is a loan tho...
he isn't 100% sure how long for...
Jay @JayJay2345
@reluctantnicko Spearing for a season or 6 months ?
Alan Nixon @reluctantnicko
@JayJay2345 Length of time a bit odd. Heard 'for season' but also heard 6-month thing which takes u to end of Feb? Odd.
and he's not expecting any more signings tomorrow...

6 months isn't long when you consider Coyle's signings normally sit in purgatory for several months before given 10 minutes to prove themselves.

Whatever deal he is on to me is irrelevant. What he needs to be is the right player to help get us back up.thebish wrote:Jez wrote:Im hearing a loan until January with an option to buy if were promoted
by no means the permenant deal we wanted but thank god we've actually got someone
eh?? surely the best of all worlds!! people DIDN'T want us to spunk £3mill on him... I'm sure BWFCi will be along in a moment to applaud the club for not panicking and throwing the cash - and instead getting the very deal they wanted...
A loan is clearly less financial risk but so long as he's the right man and does the business it's all rosy!

Much happier with the loan, at least now we can see if he fits and get a good idea if he's worth the price.
