So, what's the story about Knight being dropped following a fight at Euxton yesterdy .... and where was Sordell ?
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

My heart sank when I saw Afobe on the teamsheet, then even lower when Marv was nowhere to be found...

I'm guessing he's gone in January then...

Perhaps with all the troubles on u21 duty it was decided he needed to be rested

That's [possible .... but fck, he shoul be able to move past that. He should be bursting to play.

Put it this way, if Afobe is better than him he should maybe start learning a new profession. If his heads in the wrong place after last week he maybe should look to doing something very gentle & lovely.

It doesn't fit with anything I've heard about his character

Good lad, good trainer, no trouble, is the entry on his end of term report

You'd hope so. Perhaps he'll be available for Wolves on Tuesday...

We can't waste a player of obvious quality, especially when he's ours and not just a loanee like Afobe.

Hopefully we get to see him in the team sooner rather than later.. He has obvious talent, to be playing every game for England U21s when he doesn't even play here shows that.

I just hope he doesn't move on before we have given him a real good go in the starting lineup.

It's just sad that as a Bolton fan I've seen him in England and Team GB colours more than ours, and when he's played for them he's been good.

Would rather have a team of joint managers consisting of Gary Megson, Roy McFarland and John O'Kane than have Nigel Adkins as our manager.

He seems about as capable as organising a Premiership defence as Coyle. Possibly less, actually

Let's give Jiminiho a chance, after that 2nd half he deserves a few more games..

Having seen Sammy Lees contribution today, I reckon we could have been successful (even) under Coyle, if he'd utilised the best coach in the club

Fcuk, I'm frustrated

I'm sure he stops the rush. But if we appointed the unheard of youth team coach from any other championship club as manager there'd be uproar. Bit small time just wanting him
cos he's a Bolton lad.

If he is the best qualified then fine.

But otherwise......no.

Perhaps, but Coyle's tactical inflexibility would have f*cked us eventually anyway.

If he drops his clownshoes assistant manager and 'defensive' coach he might be successful elsewhere
