We'll lose the away games and miss out...
Re: 5 Games to go
Kind of hard to argue with that logic. Need at least 2 road wins, and just can't see that happening.Abdoulaye's Twin wrote:We'll lose the away games and miss out...

Re: 5 Games to go
If I looked at this logically, I can't see us doing it either. However, what's keeping me slightly hopeful is that this is a very strange league and anyone seems to be capable of beating anyone. Logic therefore goes out of the window.
I'm hopeful, but trying not to get too hopeful, therefore avoiding the inevitable disappointment.

Hope is what keeps us going.

Re: 5 Games to go
Bristol City have been all but relegated and won't be up for the game at all... by the Cardiff game they would of won the league and will hopefully giving a few 2nd choice players a game, Blackpool are shit and we'll beat um... and our home form is too good for us not to beat Boro, game against Leicester is the only game i'm not confident about.

Re: 5 Games to go
That's a pretty tight run in for all involved. Any team can beat any other team. It's going to be a real betty swollox time until the last game of the season for me. Any club from us, Brighton, Forest Or Leicester. I think 'Borough are done unless they win every game from here on in. Who said this Championship stuff was rubbish? Europe apart, this is turning into one of the most exiting seasons I can recall as a Wanderer.

Re: 5 Games to go
It seems the random number generator is the way forward so will try that.

Oh god, it's like quote inception. Haha
Re: 5 Games to go
ok used the random number generator and it was very unkind to us again, Brighton 5th 72, Leicester 6th 69, Forest 7th 67 and finally ourselves 8th 61. I am sure that ultra pessimistic prediction pleases you more than my previous 2 overly optimistic ones.

Re: 5 Games to go
thinking 3 wins and a draw might do it
you'd have to have us favourites next week but our away form can't give you too much confidence
the home games both look winnable. think we'll need 6 from them.
leicester & cardiff away will be hard. even if cardiff have everything wrapped up it won't be easy.

Don't think our away form makes us favourites in any match. Need to step up another notch to pull this one off.James B wrote:thinking 3 wins and a draw might do it

3 wins could even just be enough.

Re: 5 Games to go
Yeah I thought that, but I think Brighton have the easiest run in, plus they are in the driving seat, so they are the ones to beat. The Leicester games is massive for us, unfortunately its away I still have the hope and belief that we can scrape in and until its mathematically impossible I always will, that said, i think this year may be a just a bridge too far COYWMSalford Trotter wrote:I don't fancy Leicester's run-in
Re: 5 Games to go
We need 4 wins at least. That would give us 72 points which would be borderline. Given Brightons relatively easy run-in we might need 5 wins.
Who's that coming up the hill boys,
The Wanderers are coming up the hill boys,
They all laugh at us, they all mock at us,
They all say our days are numbered,
Born to be a Wanderer, victorious are we....
