would be an unusual move to have a player on loan - then buy him - then loan him out! (especially if we are short... and especially if the manager is investing in youth...)

thought I'd heard DF say after the Tranmere match that it showed the youth weren't up to it. Which suggests loans, albeit thought Hall was the only bright spark against QPR
