I thiiiink, it still applies but only if they are unattached when the window slams shut. So if we were to release Zat tomorrow he couldn't play for anyone else until Jan. In an ideal world he'll be playing for someone else in this league, so get going Phil!

Danny Murphy?
id take murphy but id expect he would want more than we can play and honestly we have about 5 players who play this role albeit toothlessly for the most part see -

CYL
EAGLES (best of the bunch by far)
pratley
mark davies
moritz

it seems we lack something but if its a leader/a touch of class/quality/goals or all of the above idk but honestly feel a signing of a well known older player who can score would be great someone the team could look up to and who had class enough to scare opposition teams

Kevin phillips
kenny miller

type would certainly help the guys optop

It should be the latter but I have a horrible feeling it's the former.

The lack of ambition at this club is unreal, bottom of the league and wouldn't be surprised if we're still thereabouts come January

Nice.
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

Anyone else heard the rumour...? Just received the following text;

Heard a rumour on the grape vine that gartside has been sacked, it's over the sale of hamman to man city were we sold him for £400,000 and he pocketed £100,000 because we never officially signed him, all stemmed from the interview he did on talksport last week!
