The Peacocks are coming to get roasted!

whereas Leeds will have spent the time eating pies and drowning their sorrows over that last-gasp defeat to QPR with pints of bitter and peanuts...

you're right, though - the sun IS out! 8)

(but look - there's a ruddy great big black cloud!)

That said, the sun is out.
But pre-season doesn't matter .... does it ?
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.
"I understand you are a very good footballer" ... "I try".

Not in terms of the results being particularly important, no.

Understanding "this bloke plays in the same colour as us, pass to him", then yes.

It's all this "Come on you Whites" when they're playing in tangerine that's confusing them. It needs explaining. Things like that are hard to grasp.

We'll probably win today cause I can't listen or watch this one.

Knight with the winner in the 88th minute.

#BWFC team to face Leeds: Bogdan, Baptiste, Knight, Mills, Tierney, Ream, Spearing, Pratley, Eagles, Chung-Yong, Ngog

#BWFC subs: Lonergan, Beckford, Hall, Wheater, Moritz, Mears, Medo

____

I'm glad Medo has been dropped for this one. I've not been impressed with him in the last few games, so I think he could do with missing this one. I don't understand why Freedman thinks Knight should retain his place, especially instead of Wheater. Wheater is clearly the better defender and far less error prone.

Sounding lively from us , N'gog got an early whack and tangling with the Leeds defenders. Leeds have a dab and looking lively, Warnock figuring and another challenge win a free for us. Now we go and Ream puts a great pass for Tierney that wins a corner. And....Kenny grabs it under the bar.

Knight already getting boos as he gives a way a corner. And...Varney gets a header in and Knight has to put it out again. Corner and.........0-1..Varney.
