Re: Rams to the slaughter?
We get forward and get a free kick inches outside the box. Can we do something with this?
And....inches wide for a corner. And....we just can't get it in the net. Tierney gets forward and Chungy wins a free kick after "taking one for the team". In and.....Baptiste in there again. Eagles......2----2

If we had his help, it could be 4 !!thebish wrote:second one being attributed to Wheater...Gravedigger wrote:Both goals by Russel, both assists by Bryson. Can our lads not spot the threat. Maybe it's not obvious until they score a hatfull. Oh, well, there's always the second half.
we can concede 2 in 20mins without Knight's help!

Re: Rams to the slaughter?
Eagles went through and cracked one from thirty? out. Now they have a free kick with minutes to go. Don't chuck it now and....it's a goal kick. To pinch the lead now would be just delightful..and....bit of good stuff from Chungy and then Baptiste goes in like a jet ski and earns a yellow? Free kick cleared and the fort-five are up. Still putting ourselves in dodgy situations with the defence not looking sound. Now we get a throw and...Eagles feeds Spearing who shoots wide. Half time and it looks a wee bit better in print. We break and Eagles, Backford, Eagles again and....cleared. . Some daft bird talking over the commentary as we get a free kick effort. 2-2. then,,,

Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

Re: Rams to the slaughter?
Press Association stats (via BBC) say we had 59% possession and 16 shots to Derby's nine (although it's four each on target). Again, we're getting the efforts in; a li'l more accuracy wouldn't hurt.
I would love a calmly slotted Beckford winner.
