Wonder how long till Mackay realises he's already loaned Gestede to Blackburn and recalls Mason. My bet is some time before midnight
Hey look here! It's not easy when your transfer supremo is a 14 year old from Kazakhstan who hasn't started shaving yet.
I've got a mate from Kazakhstan who went to my school, he must have started shaving by about 12 years old

Anyway, having read through some Cardiff forums, they all really like Mason and none of them have considered the prospect of him leaving permanently which is a good sign. The fact that most of them are saying he deserves a crack at the Prem is a good start for sure

..... his career seems to be a pattern of moves, short stays and bench warming. I'd have given someone else's right 'nad to have been a pro footballer but I do think I'd rather have been a 40 game a year player than someone who actually turns out six or seven times a season. If I am to be a dreamer then at least dream of success.

At least this makes more sense than us palming him off to Burnley.

I guess we can await news today about Tom Eaves next loan as Mason's arruval pushes him backward, yet again.
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

Possible move for a full back from Millwall, would make some sense as we have no cover in that position:

Wheater makes sense. He needs games to get back upto scratch. Let him go elsewhere and make his mistakes and gain his fitness. Don't know much about this Lowry lad.

Yon Lowry's 6ft1in. I remember when full-backs were rather more, shall we say, stout.

Nothing against him, but I wonder if we've pondered Liverpool's Jon Flanagan, a right-back who excelled on the left in the Mersey Derby... Rodgers: “If he plays like he did against Everton, he is going to get football. I’m a big admirer of Jon because he has just kept persevering. It has been remarkable really, that we haven’t had any clubs come in for him to take him on loan. We would always facilitate his wages. We only had one club come in for him, a League One club. I had to keep him back because I thought I was going to have to play him at Arsenal. He is a young player that needs to play. There have been a couple of enquiries but nothing concrete."

So the loan window's closed and November passes with scant reference to that bloke, the one that used to know all about Bolton Wanderers.

No Wheater to anywhere?

No Davies to anywhere?

No fullback from Millwall?

Eaves pops back for a change of kit.

No endless speculation about made up stories it would appear.

How very refreshing!

.
Oh and a bloke in for the best part of six weeks that sounds half decent.

I'll bet that bloke broke some very interesting Preston tales, if you know what I mean

Mason speaks...

JOE MASON: "Bolton are a big, big club, especially in this division, so it was a really easy decision for me."

Thanks Joe, but just a single 'big' would have done. Or 'huge' perhaps? Or 'very big'. One of those irritating footballisms that gets up my nose.

Looking forward to seeing him play though.
