Best: really struggling to thing of anyone who has consistantly excelled over the full 12 months. Spearing, Eagles, Danns, McNoughton, Medo, Dawson and Ream have impresssed in short bursts. The emergence of Moritz is perhaps the only glimmer of hope at the moment.

Worst: Ngog and and Mears. Both stealing a living.
Who's that coming up the hill boys,
The Wanderers are coming up the hill boys,
They all laugh at us, they all mock at us,
They all say our days are numbered,

Born to be a Wanderer, victorious are we....

Mears has played once in 2013?? Can hardly pick him!

Worst probably David '3 year deal' Wheater
Or David 'Fulcrum of my attack' Ngog

Best could be Ream...really knuckled down, so fair does for the manager on that one...but only played 3 months. Not sure really no one else stands out.

Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

Best: Still has to be Spearing, consistently good and hard working. Ream has been fantastic this season, really come out of his shell and shown what a good all-round player he is, but needs to keep it up.

Worst: Hard to choose between Knight and N'Gog...

Amazing how many on here rate a defender, who simply cannot defend!!

Best for me has to be Dawson. Incredible how much effect he had here.

Worst (over last 12 months) is between Ream, Pratley and Ngog

He'd win 'most improved' if it were a lads team!

He wouldn't get in a lot of sides in this division but I think he's been ok for us and when weighing up the dougie pros and cons his partnership with Mills gets a tick in the pro box. He actually could do a job as a defensive mid if we hadnt spent a couple of mil on players for that position already.

Best: Definitely Dawson, he should be top priority in jan. M Alonso was also very good in the 1nd half of last season. So were Spearing and Eagles but they've been awful this.

Worst: Butterfield? He was a fans favourite. Other than that I'd also go for Wheater

I agree with AbrahM - at least I think I do. Is Butterfield the one we got from Southampton? If so, yes, him, he was bloody awful. Only we had someone with a similar name from Norwich and he looked quite good

Danny (Butterfield) now plays for Carlisle, Jacob (Butterfield) now starts most games for Middlesbrough. Get the picture of which was the better one?

Best - Chris Eagles, my player of last season and won us so many points. Starting to pick up form this year.

Worst - Bogdan. I really dislike him. Lonergan is a lot better. Bogdan cost us too many points.
''Amazing! Out of nothing Bolton are level. A quick throw, Kevin Nolan keeps play alive in the box and finds Kevin Davies on the left who lashes a shot under Oliver Kahn.''

I know which is the better of the two, I made that quite clear. That was the point.

We had Steve De Ridder from Southampton too. Started 1 game for us. Did a bit of a mazy run then disappeared for the rest of the game before being subbed. God knows where he is now

I remember Big Sam bringing in Fabreeze Fernandez from Southampton too. I remeber him playing away at Lokomotiv Plovdiv. Don't remember him playing many other games for us though. :?

Speaking of one-game wonders, I was reminded today of Johan Smith who came on for 5 minutes against Utd in 2006 and was never heard of ever again. Contender for briefest Wanderers career?

I saw him play in a friendly and he was absolutely superb at the start of that season. He has been without a club for over a year. He was also without a club between 2010 - 2012. Basically he has played 6 games in the last 3 years, he seems to sign contracts with clubs but then leave them 2by mutual consent", sound familiar.
