Well, have a good time, you all, although I have a feeling that having a rubbish view of the on-field goings-on might prove to be a blessing ;)

This is where we turn it all around. A hard fought 0-2 to the Wanderers :? That'll have Harry frothing at the mouth, 'bare bones', 'need bodies in', 'someone who likes a good honest day's work', etc, etc..........Tomorrow expect lots of SSN news footage of Harry at the wheel of a range rover...' Nah, nobody, honest, I've got to work with what I've got'. Then he'll spunk £40 million of someone else's money......

I have been predicting we will turn it around for quite a while now, without any success :?

Glad that someone else is giving it a shot :)

Mental stuff, again

See, Freedman has never said these players are talentless

Just that they don't have it in them to perform, reliably

Interesting to note that I have no hope for this game, but I have no real fear of a battering. I can envisage sad resignation in meek surrender, but I'm still thinking a 1-0 home win is the likeliest result - cue DF giving it "encouraging signs" against "very good team who'll get promoted, make no mistake" while we "need to get some more of the right sort of people at this football club".

Although I may be conflating him with his predecessor. A bit.

QPR mates i know are saying they are expecting a 70 minute bore fest followed by them getting a scrappy 1-0, as has been their method all season.

I doubt it will be that painless.

Reading had only scored 7 combined in their previous 11 games hadn't they?

And how many clubs have scored 7 this season? Just because they haven't turned anybody else over and spanked their arse doesn't mean they're not going to start on us tonight. (I'd prefer it if they didn't, but I'm predicting they will - and I'm sticking with it).

Well spotted, Spotty. I hadn't thought of that. :D

Reading are ranked 4th for home goals scored (taking 7 off the tally weakens that somewhat). QPR are ranked 24th.

They don't let many in though at home 62% clean sheets, but when teams have scored, they've usually managed to get 2.

No one has bagged 2 against them at home, so we should go "gung-ho" from the off, with our array of attacking options.

2-1 I tells ya.
