I thought Mears was injured?

So, Hayden White, and now possibly Liam Trotter.

I wonder if he'll top that by making a last minute bid for that Jordan Wanky-Wanderer?

from Millwall site "News at Den" (geddit??)
Trotter has been a long-term target for boss Dougie Freedman and the Lions' Championship rivals are trying to agree a deal for the 25-year-old before Friday's transfer deadline.

It is understood the two clubs are some way apart in their valuation of the former Ipswich Town trainee, who is out-of-contract in the summer.

Freedman made an approach for Trotter in December 2012, and was also keen to sign him when he was Crystal Palace manager.

A source confirmed that negotiations would go "right down to the wire", with the window closing at 11pm tomorrow.

Millwall offered Trotter a new, double-your-money deal before Christmas but he has so far been reluctant to discuss an extension.

Ian Holloway has threatened to sell players who refuse to commit their futures to the club.

If Trotter goes, the Lions could turn to Yeovil Town star Ed Upson to replace him.

meanwhile... LIKE a new signing!!
CARSON, Calif. (AP) — Bolton midfielder Stuart Holden is training with the U.S. national team for the first time since tearing his right anterior cruciate ligament during the final of the CONCACAF Gold Cup last July 28.

Holden was in the Los Angeles area to be evaluated by Dr. Bert Mandelbaum, who operated last summer. The 28-year-old participated with the U.S. team during Tuesday's training sessions, then did fitness exercises and ball work on his own.

Holden will remain with the Americans until Saturday, when they play an exhibition game against South Korea. He then will return to Bolton and says he hopes to play for the club's reserves by late February.

My little heart lept when I saw we were on 100 pages. What exciting season-rescuing developments have taken place I wondered?
No Dawson, yes Mason. I don't know which is most disappointing.

Interesting that Dougie has not permanently signed one CB in his time here (well, except Cian Bolger). Is it just because he has high standards and won't sign anyone that doesn't meet them? I'm sure he's well aware that it's an area in need of strengthening.

I never saw Makakakaka, so I can't comment on him, but I saw Afobe and I don't understand why he isn't doing an apprenticeship in grouting bricks, coz he can't play football.
