he only has to get about four more to be better. it's not like he's (c. davies is) ricketts or walker or owt.

Play-offs?! Jesus wept! I thought Dougie had been on the crack, maybe it's in the air up there :D! We'll be middle of the road lower midtable IMO.

Last year lowest play-off team got 68 points, which was v v low total.

11-12---6th - 75
10-11---6th - 75
09-10---6th - 70
08-09---6th - 74

Even to get 68 this season we need 40 points from 19 games.

Last year from this point, almost achieving a very low total for 6th we got 35 from our last 19. And that was a superb run.

It's gone!
In a world that has decided
That it's going to lose its mind
Be more kind, my friends, try to be more kind.

But he signed craig davies and barely played him. But he has apparently been injured...

Trotter - reasonable player. But a centre mid! Haven't got a clue what he is doing.

It's not a Davies love in, he's very limited, everyone can see that. But he was our third striker and we've now only got an injured Beckford and the new lad from Boro.

We are leaving ourselves very short there and Davies was a battler we could have used.

Not sure what Dougie's thinking is there. Of course that assumes he has a say, the club may just be effectively moving any wages off the bill they can.

It took two deflections before finding the net. It wasn't his goal. What did he do for the next 7 games?

And at least Cravies was willing to head a ball (and even scored a header last year against Burnley). Which other Bolton strikers score headers these days?

Total agree we need another striker, just thinking that Davies was not the answer to our misfiring problems
Pfffft.

Hang on, I thought we were moving the "high earners" on? Don't tell me we spunked away a massive wage on a journeyman like him.
You can judge the whole world on the sparkle that you think it lacks.
Yes, you can stare into the abyss, but it's staring right back.

Yeah yeah. Why sign him and hardly play him then? Seems like a waste of money if we're that skint.

Been working all day, but was expecting at least 6 in and 6 out, today, given what Dougie has been saying about wasters, shysters and the plain shite footballers we have. Please could someone summarise in one post, all the incomings and outgoings during the day?

I'm expecting big things.

Trotter - In ... on loan, initially.

The rest of it I may have put in white, below.

Or then again, maybe there is no 'rest of it'.
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.
"I understand you are a very good footballer" ... "I try".
